I find it weird you have some dislike for fox hunting but you would enjoy some kind of royal rumble dog v fox pack fight. I remember getting test done when I was young because I suffered from migraines. I was allergic to nothing. I grew up with dogs an cats all my life and never had a bother. When out cat died it was a few years before I was in contact with a cat but I visited a family member and was clapping her cat and the next thing my nose and eyes were streaming. Never put it down to the cat that day but since I've realised I am allergic to them, and if I clap a dog and touch my face my eye fucks up!! I had a cat though for a wee while...if it came near me I'd start sneezing and eyes f****d up...after

Suppose I grew up with pheasants...wasn't keepering but rearing. I've dabbled in the keepering world, 5 years on one estate and a year on another. Both were rented and we did it commercially. Would never class myself as a 'keeper' though. I enjoyed that side off it to be honest. The challenge of holding birds being the exciting part when on shoot day your hard work shows. The shoots I ran never ran to there potential though as our main income was the rearing and things like trapping and vermin control lacked as there were just not enough hours in the day. My life was dedicated to pheasants -

aye, he's got 3x3 posts and 2 4x4 posts for the gate, the slats are from pallets. It's going to be about 30 feet long and 6 foot high and so far he has stripped 8 pallets out of 15, I can't see it being enough Where the hell did he find 6ft pallets for the slats? The pallets will be 5x4....the fence will be a foot of the ground....lol maybe he will make a trellis out of the privet branches and sticky backed plastic I'm hoping for a photo...lol

I'd be real interested in finding out what your returns are after 5 years mate are. My grandad was a firm believer in a 5 year plan when trying to get a good stock of greys on the place. Couple of barren pairs on the place should take young poults on no bother. There a great wee bird....not so easy as the red leg to rear, pecking b*****ds. -

Defo going to blow down with the 3x3 posts.....that's a fact. He needs 8 slats to a metre tae. Ok here goes for the gate....luckily you said it has the fence attached as that helps to secure the gate from falling with the weight. You could make the gate( although 5ft is big) in one complete section but it will be one big heavy gate. If that catches in the wind the
