The mum was a line bred collie/greyhound x whippet/greyhound with a small drop of deerhound blood the person started the line in 86 with a handcock f1 to a f1 deerhound greyhound then to whippet greyhound then close bred from then on I bred to a f1 bedlington greyhound because I felt that’s what was needed for my needs it wasn’t easy finding a bedlington greyhound that was the real deal an a genuine dog as they come but got there in the end but trying to keep my own bred stuff if I can just because I know what’s in there that way

Not one was the same out the litters I done all different hights,builds,coat but on the mums side because they were close line bred the person that bred the dam they bred uniformed you could guarantee the height,coat,build

I’ve never sold a dog on never have never will I’ve sold a few pups on out of 2 litters I bred I asked £180 just to try weed out the pricks but took £150 on there picking of a pup at £180 a pup but still ended up with pricks having them although I’m a great judge of character I was still fooled some people are not who or what they portray they are in the hunting game! I’ve gifted a few out to working homes an they’ve been the best homes stood by there dogs an wouldn’t part with them for love nor money plus my next pups a gift returned for gifting in the first place I’ve said to my self when/i

I think a good handler these days is more important to train a pup than a mentor the rest comes with experience on the pups part with age the only time a mentor had a use was pre ban on teeth

That time of year dog owners are selling out there seasonal dogs as wonder dogs with bull shit reasons why there selling out! Bedlington x greyhound or bedlington greyhound collie greyhound would be my choice as a rabbiter they have the right work ethic easy to train willing to please and adaptable as well if you decided you wanted to lamp they take the rough with the smooth in the field and fit it to family life well
