Got that book here not a bad book to be fair -
Don’t know about that if you compare distance with say a whippet an a greyhound who is likely to do distance before one starts to burn out an slow up it’s kind of like saying a little bedlington whippet will out class a decent size collie greyhound at the numbers crack on the beam or a whippet would make a better coursers dog than a saluki/greyhound or a bull whippet would make a dedicated foxers dog over a medium to lager type but as most run medium to large it tells you what’s the better option or they’d all be running bull whippets

Think I’ve got one or two here ??????I keep saying to people there only reading material tbh most hunting books are a good read but the line is drawn there I believe little if any is learned from hunting books there just there to spark interest but don’t believe what’s told in books better learned from own experience -
A good little un would have to run twice as hard An couldn’t compete with a good big un of energy left in the tank after hard running unless the lands a shoe box size blacky the little un could turn better but once a b line comes in to play on open land the bigger dog with more stride would get the prize big or small quarry medium sized dogs is the way forward get all angles covered ??

I see this post is on its way out it’s on to the plummer stage of the post not a lot left of the post now ??? how can any one take the post seriously Plummer/Hancock pair of old peddling c**ts who only had one interest at hart An that’s relieving people of there coin through books an peddling terriers or Lurchers or glamourising other peddling c**t mates xs up by name dropping how could anyone be jealous of that working dog lads only feel pitty! I think old Plummer should of done a book on the amount of shit they bred between him An handjob an how they bigged dogs up to help line there pockets -
Nice picture fella ??I’m sure I’ve seen it before some were. I’ve a lot of respect for the real gypsys of England (the Romany) but can’t say the same about the Irish travelers that leave every were they camp up a shit hole for the tax payer to sort out

Like I said read between the lines it’s comical! the reason for out crossing is simple most not all kc bedlingtons of today are dog shit An can’t do the job in hand that’s the reason for the out crossing mainly done by bedlington owners there self ?????? I don’t think breeding out a bedlington hybrids wouldn’t be a bad thing if there working well as most bedlington hybrids have had blood put back in ? most hard bedlington x greyhound of yesteryear were bred from tack that weren’t very big there Self an produced dogs of 21-22tts that could turn to most jobs so I can’t see a hybrid being no dif -

Don’t think I could ever own a modern day f1 bedlington greyhound out of a kc stud seeing how the modern day kc bedlington is bred I wouldn’t want to take the risk to much variation in them nothing more than a Peddling racket bred for names from hole sniffers with a exception of a few being decent but not worth the risk in a f1 with the amount of fibs told far better to find a f1 bedlington greyhound that’s actually working well An putting in to another type Lurcher or long dog that’s working well -
Good on ya lad fair play ??I hate these peddling c**ts that drop dogs off they need a good kick in the bollox! In my eyes. I have little faith these days in all these lads/lasses of late getting in the dog game there fecking clueless on how to train an bring a dog on in the correct manner they give it they know this that an the other but know feck all an every things a despicable item dumb fucks. But you sir deserve extra rations in your next dooby fair play lad??

Potassium permanganate is only £2.99 on flee bay delivered when I bought some either option is cheaper than the rip off vets when it’s probably the same tack they use
-
Sound advice fella same as the vets would do but charge a bomb to do so

Hahaha ??????think many a boys hopes An dreams have been destroyed by reading such books or listening to quotes from such books that someone’s given them. they get there dog thinking there going to be the best thing since sliced bread i personally think that’s why so many dogs on the merry go round dogs owned by dreamers an easily miss lead an not realistic thinkers
-
Mine don’t get no rate ?? there either work or they don’t it’s that simple
-
I’ve had similar experiences with Morrison’s nappy sacks as dog shit bags apply to much pressure An your hands in the shit ??
-
I think it’s like most Lurcher books you read one you’ve read them all far better to have your own experiences than read of a mans tails in the field I mean after reading of wonder dogs it always makes you think your own dogs are of second rate in comparison when in fact there of the same calibre as the dogs writen about but just not glamorised up in a book to help sell it
-
Oh shit I forgot that I meant it’s all real it really happened the dogs are ? better than what any Meer amortal owners have forgotten my self for a moment there....???
-
Yes mate when it first come out I borrowed it. It’s a alright read but like all books you get that feeling that some of its bull shit from over excited owners to help sell a book but good reading material if you don’t take it all as gospel

Your odds are still the same with breeding a f1 or buying one in but if you breed you have the hassle of homing pups an what you plan on doing with the greyhound after if your only after a bedlington greyhound you may as well wait it out. There’s a guy in Warwickshire that’s a breeder of f1 bedlington greyhounds out of Irish greyhound bitches an uses a pretty handy bedlington as his stud that produced some handy dogs work/pet/race pm me An I’ll drop you his details -
Piss take ain’t it just for wormers they want a £34 consultation fee per dog before they give you wormers an then there only give 2 per dog it’s a joke if you feed raw an want your dog wormed regular I started buying in bulk from cox an robins pharmacy as they do pet wormers I buy 50 a time with another chap the more you buy the cheaper they are cheap as chips ??
