    my dog has the same dam as cleanspades "ozzy" but was put a 1st cross wheaten/grey. 23"tts but alot lighter than "ozzy" at around 20kg, he's no slouch and is not afraid to get stuck in! im sure ive bored most people to death with the same old pics of him so just look at my previous post if you wanna see him cheers, matt

    as a few of you may have seen my previous post regarding the dvds i paid for ages ago and didnt arrive, well they dropped through the door this morning, so it would seem he is just a bit slow with posting and didnt rip me off as i first thought. hope anyone else who sent money got what they were after aswell. thanks rod &dog and please accept my apologies....but next time dont just dissapear from the site and maybe post a bit sooner. cheers, matt

    nah mate.....it was the 70s plus!!!!!! hahahahahaha. oh well....still no word from rod&dog...surprise! the motors got a full tank(for a change) and im ready to roll...will cost me more in diesel the the original £20 but the video will be great entertainment!!!!!

    hi all, im sure there is a perfectly reasonable answer to why rod&dog has now become a "guest" just wonderd if anyone else has purchased anything from him in the last couple of weeks from this site? the dvd's i orderd are probably in the post but i dont seem to be able to get hold of him. the benefit of doubt is being given for the time being but any info would be great. as i said, theres more than likely a good reason.......... cheers, matt

    how do you lads find the beddy for giving tongue when to ground or even in cover? i know they are all different but im just after as much info as possible. the main terrier my lurchers are used to working with always lets you know whats going on, be it in thick cover or underground. can more or less guarantee that if you hear her scream somthing will usually bolt from cover pretty sharpish. cheers, matt

    mines smooth coated and to be honest he aint a fan of really harsh weather when ferreting, but as long as he is on the move he is perfectly fine,he has thrown plenty to the whippet side and his attitude is 100%, cant fault him there!

    mate, i think its just a case of "shit happens". i dont envy you one little bit having to stay in and having no dog to run. chin up mate im sure all will be fine! somtimes these things just happen...by the sounds of your day even if you didnt go lamping somthing crap would have happened! cheers, matt

    yes stabba i agree, mine will never make a single handed retriever day in day out, although he does have his moments of greatness. but for a general mooching dog i find him hard to beat.heart of a lion and a bit of brain to go with it. he was only ever bought as a rabbiting dog but decided he like other things aswell with no encouragement from me. cheers, matt

    my beddy/whipp x grey is 23" and does what i need him to do which is rabbits either bushed or ferreted and also for some odd reason he enjoys retrieving shot foxes, marks any cover and holes. he is almost 6 now so what he lacks in previous speed he more than makes up for in experience and cannyness. id say his only downfall is his coat, he is smooth coated and only need to look at a bramble and he starts bleeding, but that dosnt stop him doing his job! all pics containg fox are PREBAN or SHOT withing the hunting laws!!!

    ive used tpms and landywoods, both are fine. landywoods has a slightly better choice. as others have said though, sometimes landywoods quality lets them down. cheers, matt
