  3. Haha! Yer bloody things! Loves to slide about! They all do pal, I have the ranger and that's slippy as a slippery thing on wet grass, get a few bags of corn in the back and it makes all the difference tho.I do like the high seat, and some good views around, presume it's for deer ? i find its ok when I remember to put it in 4wd but if you forget and then need it, it's usually to late lol as said tho with some weight in the back they arnt to bad. I'm on my second one now and it's an automatic and it's much less embarrassing than my old manual one lol

LOL!!! Pheasant chicks? I'm guessing it's not a keepered area? Go and ask permission because someone's not keeping on top of the foxes! Don't think I saw 21 all last year lol
  6. Has anybody else fished them this year? I've had a couple of trips to ullswater now and blanked both times? This time last year it was almost to easy to catch! But this years not looking promising so far? I'm wondering if the floods have messed it up and how long it might take to recover? Any theory's?
  7. The only problem I see with that is if it rain....... You will never get that navara out of the field! Lol Nice view mate Ps I have a navara to lol

  9. Kirkby Lonsdale?Yes mate Nutter lol ? it's a fairish height that. My mate jumped off there and broke his jaw and arm, missed the deep bit landed on rocks. Used to live near there Atb i no a few people that have hurt themselves doing it! It's good job they have stopped it now TBH lol it's not far from me and a nice spot to take the dogs for a cool down in summer Mrs. First job was at the Snooty Fox pub, loads of bikers die on that section of road. Cheers, D. did my work experience at the sun and a mate did his at the snooty fox, he got sacked from his work experience! Lol he was threw
  10. Bugger! Just seen this and it sounds funny as fook! Lol I'll have to see if I can find it and record the series
  11. might be a stupid question but does it produce the hops for beer making....i.e. could I use it to knock up some form of home brew???i think you can make home brew from pretty much anything mate, so I don't see why not? Try and ask in the "living off the land" section on here, we have some very skilled home brewers among us lol
  12. Haye to win in round 6 with a ko, it's on Dave isn't it? What time does anyone know?

  14. i would shit myself if that thing flew over my head! Do you think it brought its family with it?
  15. not heard that before, but very fitting it seems mate.
  16. jumped it a few times lol some nice bikes there on a Sunday
  17. Do you think that that's right tho walshie? Redundancy is capped at 25yrs anyway, and if the guy has no intention to work but claims his wage again in overtime! While eating his bloody breakfast when everyone else is hard at it? If they stopped his overtime it would pay this lads wage! But, they just go for the easy option! And its wrong in my opinion!
  18. Not sure what it is but there's loads around here! If it's hops I might just have a plan
  19. Is anybody else going thru it at the moment? I got told last Thursday that I was up for it but the lad at the bottom of the matrix has been told today. This lad is sh*t hot at his job and I really can't see how he's at the bottom on the matrix apart from people higher up not having the bollocks the get rid of lazy bone idle piss taking c**ts that have been there 30 yrs +. Is it a cost thing? Does age and experience (in what is essentially an unskilled manual labour job) really beat youth and enthusiasm? He's asked me to go in to the meeting with him on Thursday and to be honest I'll probably e
  20. It's definately on my to do list, but I don't understand Why it's always at night? Do sea trout only feed at night?
  21. They say it was put to sleep? I'll bet it wasn't an injection from the vet!
  22. yeah the 7x57 seems to come up again and again as a good all round deer calibre but some reason there doesn't seem to be many on here that claim to shoot them and obviously I'd like to hear of first hand experience. I maybe shouldn't discount.308 as a calibre, perhaps I just don't like my brothers gun lol the trigger seems really heavy to me, the recoil/muzzle flip seems over the top (even with a moderator on) and it weighs a ton after after a few hours lugging the thing around lol I have shot a .270 without a mod and that didn't seem as bad as his .308? But I'd still like something with the r
  23. if them thing turn up around here I'll put in for a variation lol but I can't see me chasing them for a while yet not on my wages!
  24. I'm applying for my fac and can't decide what I need lol most of my land only only holds roe so I was always sure I was just going to go for a .243 but my brother has just taken on some really good stalking that holds quite a few reds also, so I will be mainly after roe but also have the oppertunity to go for reds on a fairly regular basis. He shoots a 308 which I feel is just to much of a cannon for me and can't get on with it. What would you experienced guys consider to be nice sweet shooting middle ground? I have thought about the 6.5x55 quite a lot but I believe it has a bit of a "rainbow
