  1. theres a breeder in london, no info about litters or prices but i would guess they will be priced like the presa de canaria were a few years back
  2. sorry boys and girls if this shows you in a bad light;- dont shoot the messenger, take it out on the lads that are making you look bad by their actions instead.
  3. whats the best part of the states for this kind of hunting?
  4. think its a bit early to be asking people their location, we dont know if your genuine or if your an anti, and i strongly suggest you dont give out your name or location on this or any other hunting site as antis have been known to source information here
  5. ive had more than my fair share of that shit, suffered depression for a few years, im just scraping myself off the floor now, all i can do is look forward + build a new future, so i focus on my dogs, my bloodlines + how to improve them, + im now starting to lay the foundations for a new career + emigration.
  6. has anyone have/had a rhodesian ridgeback x hound? what are they like as fox dogs? im not after one, i saw one on an american rspca tv program and it caught my attention what are they like in terms of endurance etc, anyone have any pics?
  7. i had one, she didnt work out for me, fine young bitch but ran out of steam way too early and was terrible on the recall, she was hard work to train as well.
  8. maybe we are misreading the ad, maybe its 850 for the whole litter ???
  9. ok i admit i was wrong;- ferrets dont need worming after all....... nuff said
  10. i second that;- send in the ira, few of them lads come down south to hunt, dont know them personally despite having a bellaghy lad as a brother-in-law, if any of ye are reading this thread then be reminded that a ban south of the border affects you as well, i would love to go to gormleys funeral;- the dirty anti.
  11. anyone going from the west? low on cash this week, cant afford the diesel
  12. i feed them to mine, eat the odd young one myself as well
  13. depends on the price, there isnt exactly a shortage of them at the moment
  14. ive voted;- current poll is % in our favour
  15. Hi Gem, Can you put a few photos of your collies? I have seen the wicklow's a few times. Very nice collies. I hear sometimes they are still born with the bob tail? tried to attach a pic but this damned netbook wont let me download them;- i can e-mail u a pic however, pm me an e-mail + i'll send it to ya
  16. just to stop the usual priks in here making smart comments about me + my dogs + making accusations here is a list of what i have patterdale dog, nearly 2yrs lakelandxpatterdale bitch 11mths parson russel terrier x bitch 8yrs neutered wicklow collie bitch 4yrs;- booked in to be neutered wicklow collie bitch 10wks (daughter of bitch above) wicklow collie bitch 10wks (for sale)
  17. that may be their aim and it is a good one but it will also mean that hunt packs will have to neuter many of their bitches or pay a large fee to the goverment, i for example have 5 bitches, 1 of which is neutered, 1 is due to be neutered, 1 bitch pup is for sale. and 2 bitch pups that will be left entire, i also have 1 male. even by just owning these 5 bitches i have reached my quota of bitches even though i will not be having more than 1 litter in a year at the most and it leaves me no room to keep on a bitch or 2 to see how they develop.
  18. just found ads for these angoras in leicestershire 200stg for purebred, 100stg for half angoras insane, wouldnt take one as a free gift
  19. after going through a few websites via google;- the general conclusion is that it depends on their diet, those fed on raw meat such as chicken/rabbit etc are eating the healthiest and most natural diet but are more prone to worms than those fed on dryed ferret biscuit,
  20. this isnt a dog........ this is a machine
