i am new to keeping pigeons, my new pair of limerick tumblers are excellent broodys and hatched 2 chicks out of 2 eggs yesterday BUT their beaks are very small- im a little concerned (after it was pointed out to me by a friend ) that they may have problems rearing their own chicks;- should i switch these chicks with those of a less valuable pair of pigeons?

local lad was rotton drunk and hit an old man crossing the road to go to mass then in his haste to get away crashed into the back of a car with a family in in ;- young kid had a broken arm and the dad a broken nose and their dog was in car as well and had to be pts as it had bad internal injurys, scum got off with it, he played a sob story that he thought he only hit a dog and got a suspended sentance, hes a real spineless f****r.

im not looking to buy any till next year;- im too busy rebuilding my shamo flock after losing most of it to a fox attack while i was away, im down to my 6yr old original pair a couple of birds bought in as eggs that are not up to standard and some week olds from the main breeding group that was lost. want to do my research on them properly before i buy, and build a set up for them as well, any articles or breed standards would be helpful, also if you know of any really 1st class breeders in uk or europe? thanks, gem

im interested in finding out more about reza asil, what height are they? weight? seen pics and im becoming more interested in asil lately, used to have a bantam pair of asil and have had kulangs in the past. gem

your the suspect one. as for me knowing nothing about knackers;- i know more than i wish i did, and i can spot them easily in a crowd, ive nothing against the majority of them, but it would be rare i would buy anthing off them (and no i dont mean fowl) i think your just a weedy little rat that hides behind a keyboard spouting bullshit. ive got better things to do, go and look at some real gamefowl and stop annoying me!

how do you catch them, in summer i catch them by hand;- do any of you use traps?

im not a knacker and neither is he, you will probably know him but im not telling you his name, maybe the real enthusiasts think your a knacker and want nothing to do with you? and as for culls, he culls a very large proportion of his stock because he doesnt want thieves to discover he has them or are you just thick and he ALWAYS has great feedback on his birds on pics he posts regularly on gamefowl forums and so far you have shown me no evidence whatsoever that you know anything about gamefowl.

wouldnt be so quick to call someone a fool, im selling these birds as a favour, the breeder of them is top notch, i can tell you all you need to know about shamo but when i comes to american game im not so experienced- the breeder of these birds usually culls all of his surplus stock because of fear of thieves. or are you just another keyboard warrior?

thats why u never have buyers at your house, i meet people at sales and in carparks- wish i didnt have to but its the way it is, i also have cctv. iv a few american game coming in a couple of months all about 3mths old i will be selling them in pairs and trios, not sure of exact strain but will find out later, all bred from american imports, willing to meet people at a game fair or poultry sale with them if they want some, prices start at 50euro for a pullet and 70euro per young stag or 100 per pair (i will not sell stags seperately) pics and further breeding info will be made available p

a bit- murial on wall behind the bird makes its head look heavier than it is.theres a lot of mix breed birds out there its hard to find good purebred stock, ive an aseel mix stag at home that has pit game in the mix, a nice bird but not one for breeding of course;- and before any lads start piping up their ten cent- no im not a cocker this particular stag is cocker-traveller bred and is for sale if anyone is interested SOLD.

i made a mistake buying in 2 pups off a fella recommended to me by an idiot that talked the talk, wont be making that mistake again, still have the younger 1 of them a border terrier x fox terrier, she has just been spayed and is going to be the kennel companion for the chocolate nuttall dog when he arrives, she might come right in the end!

ive no interest in making money, and im not mating him yet, just deciding what im gonna do when he is old enough, im not gonna breed a pup from a pup, doesnt hurt to ask for any pointers when it comes to the bitch! ive bought pups before that wont do the job i want, sold them to pet homes long before they came of age, sick of buying in pups from so called working stock that are useless, this dog is a genuine animal! a real grafter.

Bud you cant get out of it. There is absolutely no need to mate it to more than one bitch, if any at all. If the first mating isnt successfull, the dog is still very young (far too young imo). FTB Blaming it on the dog already! ive seen a lot of bitches with problems that result in mismatings, takes 2 animals to breed!

thats ridiculous breeding 6 litters for one bitch to give back to a man who doesnt need her a mis-quote on top of a mis-quote, do you guys just read the last post and jump on the band-wagon? typical THL.

if it was about ££££ i would mate him to as many bitches as possible, and i wouldnt give a damm what they looked like! i didnt say i was going to mate him to 6 bitches; i said less than half a dozen, i prob wont end up mating the dog to half that amount, im just leaving myself room for mismatings or other complications like; no bitches in a litter etc.
