Can't think why but this is just how I imagine he is

yes you've made your veiws clear on nearly every thread that wireviz dares to post on why ruin the thread if you don't like him tell him via PM maybe even try and be the better man by rising above his level. P.s I don't know wireviz and don't want to I summed that up on the thread about the highseat just don't need reminding on every thread
-
No not really! Bearing mine what's one man's salt is another mans poison. Whilst you and some others might not give a toss about Sherriffs highseat and the circumstances behind its disappearance and the effort he had to go through in order to get the court to order its return. I know that there are many that are. Why they choose not to post on the topic and offer their positive views unlike some is a matter of conjecture. But does this have to run into every topic that wireviz may dare to post on there is a thread re the highseat incident could you not just slag him on there rat

Are you comparing my kids to dogs?! So when my kids have kids, what will they be? Not English I suppose. Destined forever to not belong to any country? My Gran is from Liverpool (her father was Scottish), my Grandad from Canada (his people been there a few generations, came up from the US as loyalists, trace back to England). My Mum born in Canada, my Dad the same but from Irish parents. I was born in Canada. So ... am I Canadian, or what? A line has to be drawn somewhere. If people choose to live in a country, raise their family etc., then those kids should be proud of their country,

A grand idea but................. Can you be more specific. Defining dregs, arseholes, and arsehole posts would be a good place to start. Bearing mine what's one man's salt is another mans poison. One forum I belong to has a blanket ban on all swearing and anything that tries to work around the ban also gets blocked . It causes mild amusement but it makes for pleasant reading once you understand that open forums are not just read by adults, or by those that support country sports. Our image is bad enough with a large proportion of the voting public without adding to the burden by mak

In the beating line....
danw replied to Born Hunter's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Its not hard..... Flag when a bird gets up and looks like its heading away from the guns, dont flag like a mad man non stop.......stop tapping if theres a flush......and stop walking when everybody else does..... Simples... People and their bloody flags drive me mad you get the beater who can crack a flag like a whip and goes on and on with it you get others that can't seem to unfurl it and the rest flag till there arm drops off IMHO flags have no place on a pheasant drive partridge yes you can turn them with a well timed flag but pheasant if they want to go over your head then -

I can sense a ear bashing on the way.. nah she understands.....she knows that canada is a bit of a nothing country, that's why she's moved over here and desperately wants to be classed as English  I am not English, and I don't want to be. I'm deeply proud of my country and wouldn't have it any other way. I live here and love it and I'm proud to raise my kids here - but I am Canadian. My kids are English because this is where they were born, where they will grow up ... what else would they be? Some kind of hybrid .... with no nationality or loyalty to the country they

What is your thoughts on electric training collars?
danw replied to oldred58's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
HOW I STOCK BREAK MY DOGS IS TAKE THEM THOUGH STOCK AT A YOUNG AGE AND EVERY TIME THEY TURN THERE HEAD THEY ARE TOLD NO, SO IF THIS IS CARIED ON FROM 12 WEEKS OLD THEY SOON LEARN THAT THEY ARE NOT THE QUARY.BUT A LAZY MANS WAY IS TO LEAVE THERE DOG RUN FREE IN A FIELD WERE THERE ARE STOCK AND WHEN THE DOG CHASES STOCK BECOUSE THEY KNOW NO BETTER THEY ARE GIVEN AN ELECTRIC SHOCK SO SAD what you describe would not be the correct way to use the collar anyway but then you are clearly an expert in their use. not point continuing this as far as I'm concerned if as your location describes your -

danw replied to oldred58's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
WELL I WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAY, SO YOUR DOGS ARE SO WELL TRAIND AND BEHAVED THROUGH THE USE OF A COLLER. WERE MY DOGS ARE AS WELL BEHAVED WITH NO USE OF ANY TOOL, BUT EXPERIENCE AND PATIENCE. Should have added only ever used a collar once for a dog that lost focus when working past 200 yards one correction and it never needed a collar again but hey non of us are perfect are we.what I do understand though is the principle of its correct use and how they can be used within aversion training I would far sooner learn from others methodology than blindly believe that every -
What is your thoughts on electric training collars?
danw replied to oldred58's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I am proud to say in 21 years I have never had a dog that didn't walk to heel without a lead in fact I have never owned a lead, seen many folks use one incorrectly though seen dogs hit with them, seen dogs dragged with them, seen dogs choked with them, seen dogs tied up and left with them seems to me a lead is a lazy mans tool the day I need one I reckon I'll pack the dogs in -

danw replied to oldred58's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
so you would rarther give a dog away or pts after all that hard work you must be crazy mate why not use a collar if it gets the result after everything else fails times are changing mate move with them not against No I would rather train the dog properly in the first place.....the only thing that appears to be changing is people taking the time and effort to train their dogs properly. As I said I've never needed one on a lurcher maybe that's just me! i do train all mine the corect way i all ways have i used the collar as a last resort i dont use it in replace of training because you -

IF and its a big IF he used it properly the dog wouldn't have even been in a position to rag the sheep but then as I said plenty of twats get them and don't use them correctly. -
sounds like a blocked jet in the carb

danw replied to oldred58's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
The problem for me doesn't lie with the collar in the right instance they can be a fantastic tool but too many twats get them and use them as a means to discipline the dog. -
