Theres no hard and fast rule u should treat acording to injury if it is serious i always jab to prevent infection as well as clean and metacam do this as soon as dog has been dug obviously under vets guidance.but i prefer dog that has a bit of sense so does not need alot of treatment but even the sensible ones get knocked about depends on the animal infront of them

Id say most of the tidy lines of black dog would have his blood way back in their line probably the most influentail working stud for black terriers i would hazzard a guess even the famous ac line could be traced out of dogs from him

Try coconut oil rub it on them will clear up in a week.had same problem tried everything from shampos to mange treatments nothing worked til i rubbed coconut oil into them cleared up in a week and puts lovely shine and condition on their coats

Where are all the working russels to dont know of anyone digging to a strain of russels just the odd one here and there.im not talkibg about the sealyham types i know theres a line of them used by a few tidy lads im on about proper russels shame their not still about

I have heard a lot about this line,never seen it go but i would llike to ask where has it originated from ie nuttal ,gould parkes ect.theres a lad in wales seems to be having a good few sent over from ireland seems if you got enough coin they are pretty easy to get hold of so im told

Why all the name calling pal.correct me if im wrong but don't youre american badgers mostly live on top and only dig out little groundhog holes now and again.you are correct it is ilegal to hunt brock in uk.some of the earths over here are 50 plus holes with 3 to four different levels of varying depths it can take a dog many hours to bottle up an educated fox that is the real test of a dog the run round i dont believe you have rhem types of earths so i still say you will never know the true potential of your dogs.but as long as they suit you happy days.i may have come across as having a go at

Listen pal i don't sell dogs and and am not a thief or liar as for what dogs ylu keep i couldn't give a flying f**k .you may well have better dogs than me but you really wouldn't know theres no comparison digging guinea pigs and raccoon compared to work here in the uk.

All good sound advice but how many honestly follow it,truth be how many are breeding out of quality digging bitches lets be honest theres not that many about and a lot of lads settle for breeding of hunt bitches rather than proper digging bitches and a lot of lines dont produce many good bitches for this reason

If you sell dogs u have no Say in what people do with them.if their gifted to people they should come back end of.if I give some one a pup there's only two things I expect if they want rid it comes back and if it's no good I expect them to pts.if they get rid and have bought it it's your own ducking fault for selling in the first place

Yeah he will take stick but only when he has to,a hard dog to me engages his game more or less all the time he's with it so most take a fair bit every dig where a Bayer with balls only gets knocked about with aggressive animals,best dog I ever seen steady away but would not let anything pass him he rarely got knocked about and was always locked up on breakthrough he was dug to many testing game and always got the result a true class act brains as well as bolocks

Depends on the dog like Fat man says some will take hold and lay with game and don't take much stick, had a dog like that years a go dug 57 before he made a sound never go really beat up longest he was off was about 4 weeks and that was the day he bayed could dig him every 2 weeks most of the time.had a daughter of him would be off 3 or 4 weeks after every dig would not mater if it was 2ft or 6ft there's exceptions to every rule but I'd say if your getting 10 a season with a hard dog you're doing well prefer a steady type with a enough nuts to hold their own when needed,but all ways liked a ha
