same, then take her home and out with the dogs.

  2. That's ok mate, i'm sure the cuddle mate it all better
  3. I don't think so, i was purely trying to ignite some debate that didn't involve "what do you think of a saluki/bull/basenji/tortoise" or "why do people like bull lurchers", now thats been done to death.......Although you get brownie points for the drawing thread.......... I was going to write an answer for you, but then got distracted by the video on your sig.
  4. Has this not been done to death??? An 'all rounder' to most folk is a dog that hasn't let them down at something they have asked of it. Very few folk have the chance, time or inclination to try to take every quarry, in every situation, on every type of land. imo.
  5. Be very bored and very lonely and probably get into more trouble. And the ferreting would be a pile of wank and all. So in conclusion i'd probably just become a serial killer or junky to pass the days
  6. Aye like you telling her is going to change feck all You not realised that your on the cards for a couple of mine and all I'm thinking of asking her to go in with me in a 'rent-a-ferret' buisness. THis time next year Rodney . . . .
  7. Already got one young lad to groom mate, and he was out permission hunting yesterday
  8. Cheers mate Aye, i'm waitig for the summer 'rat tail' to kick in, i can see them starting to look a bit shabby all ready. Funny how ferrets, even from the same breeding, can have such different work styles, and also how sometimes these styles do pass on down the generations. The mother to this one, has a thing about eyes, she will empty a stop end one by one, pulling out their eyes and bullying them into bolting. I don't think i have known her to kill in. I know what you mean about the racing, i don't think mine would be interested, they wont go down a hole without a bunny

  10. It's all in the breeding mate
  11. I'd go for a terrier based lurcher. Maybe a beddy x.Or a collie x as they are very nice dogs to have about anyway.
  12. Sorry to hi-jack, but out of interest mox, here she is -
  13. Decent ferret then, stood her ground and worked her nose to the stop ends Aye, i was very impressed with her, she is last years kit and i only took her a long for the ride, expecting to use a more experienced jill, but tried her first and as she was doing well, let her do it all (only small garden sets). Only thing is i can see her being a killer as she learns the tricks, she's very 'hard' at the moment and nearly every rabbit comes out with very obvious contact having been made. We shall see in the coming season, but if she keeps it up, i can see her making the same grade as her mo
  14. Yes mate, always got to stick my oar in. I was ferreting friday and the same, my jill got them out without any digs, but had three decent kick marks on her face.
  15. EIther - Average ferret that can't handle it with spring sticky bunnys. Or No one is home, because they were out feeding.
  16. Spun poly In anyone of a number of ridiculous colors
  17. Alright buddy, just seems strange someone selling a jill with her litter of kits and a 3 month old pup. Both the kits and pup would have been recent arrivals, so maybe breeding a litter and buying in a pup was something that required a bit more fore thought and commitment?
  18. Yes lol i had a small bottle of water with ice sticks Out of interest what is in the small dog and whats her story, R.E the getting shot bit? DOgs look in good nic.
  19. What i wants to know is - Did ye have your ice cubes with ya?
  20. One of the worst things that happened to hunting was the ban being put in place. But i think probably a slightly worse thing now would be the ban being lifted. I know it's sick, especially the whole, pts dogs that have been used to break the ban. But can you imagine how rough it would be if half the idiots you see thought they had free reign to do as they please?
  21. Feeling a tad rough after last nights art class!
