  1. "And i think every one will own a couple of jackers and if you dont then you anit pushing your dogs hard enough IMHO" You really think that? Why do folk always want to push their dogs to breaking point, rather than push them to the limits of their capabilities but not beyond. They are dogs. Some folk seem to have a f**k load of mutts and other seem to manage to do very well with say 4 or so dogs over ten years. an how would you know the limit of it capabilities if ye never kept pushing mate i like to push my dogs to the max, to jacking point almost, tho the diffrence i f

  3. i seen home raised pups gee there best for 4/5 seasons, then just gee the ghost mate, could blame the thousands a runs, or the excessive work load,or even the owner or could blame the dog, tho truth a the matter is even tho some are way better than others, they are all dogs an not machines Just seems most people jacker stories start 'so i bought this dog, that was meant to be doing the biz . . . and . . .'. I never really got the jacker things, there are some dogs i guess that are just cowards, or can't be f****d. But then at the same time, like you say, every dog has a limit, you c
  4. Out of interest, all these Jackers, were any of them dogs you had raised from a pup and entered yourselves, or were they for the most part dogs that were bought in at some stage?
  5. I had a jacker once, i'd notice my screw drivers were missing and then lo and behold wake up in the morning to find a tidy Beemer or two, stashed round the back of the shed.
  6. I think you could be right mate! Get ur haggis oot fer the lads!.
  7. But not as handsome Very true, but if he was taller AND better looking than you, i might need to rethink my choice of ferreting partner!
  8. Ah, i see the missus has had a shave mate, good job!
  9. Same mate, i bet they thought it was handy thing to develop, but i lost mine within a week or two, and was using the box anyway. Never really saw the point as the locator box is always in my pocket anyway, and i only turn em on at the start of the day and off at the end.
  10. Worst i had was a could feel something like a spot on my chin, in my beard. Was scratching it for a while, then realized it was a fecking tick. At the time didn't and couldnt get a tick puller, so dug the f****r out with a wee knife and a needle, made a right hole as i was paranoid about leaving anything in my face.
  11. I had them i the ferrets, dogs, cat and myself! b*****d things!
  12. Your mental, but i like it! Can't see any holes at all mate, crack on!
  13. Aye don't read too much into it he was a f*****g nyt bag plain and simple!
  14. Get a tick puller mate, to pull the odd one off safely. For a load, get frontline spray, put some rubber gloves on and spray them with it, and then massage it into the ferrets coat, they should all fall off in a day or so.
  15. hows yours doing?? true tho mate and such a shame these brilliant dogs have fell into the hands of these clowns  She's coming on ok mate Growing. You know what i mean tho, there are plenty of tidy lads with bull x's and plenty of dicks with other x's, however more then any other x, they seem beloved of those out to 'smash shit up, same with am bulls, staffies, pits, or any 'status dog'. Don't see many hard boy teen age chavs with a beddy, lakey, russel, or any other kind of terrier do you?
  16. Seems like owt else, get a tidy one and it's the bollocks, but with popularity comes indiscriminate breeding and the production of pure shite, then you get dogs that can't do f**k all, and people can't figure out why because it's a bull x, and they thought all bull x's could do the job. Then you have the fact that as folk have said, it's the number one running dog of choice for the dick head, for reasons we don't need to go into here. imo.
  17. Old bitch is looking very well mate, the big one is his usual good looking self and the pup looks like he's becoming a tough we b*****d! And he's got GREAT ears!
  18. No confusion mate, i'm just retarded Knew it was you and for some reason wrote Rake! As in Rakeaboot No idea why! But yer the Garden warren is this years project!
  19. Scott / Rox - he looks like a wee fat fecker, but he'll do for me at the moment I'm shocked to be fair, he's walking pretty much normal, but he's on a lead for the next few weeks minimum, no running, slow build up. He put on 2.5 kilos in about a week and a half when the stitches were in. Vets reckon he is one of the luckiest they have stitched up Johnnyboy - you must be getting confused with dai, he's a bit taller than you Rox - i got a warren in my garden mate, pretty handy and nice to watch.
  20. Too true mate. When did i put any photos of you up? There's only ones of that wee lad and the old man dai who i take out for the day sometimes.
  21. Aye mate i just wanted to stick a photo up cos everyone moans i never do You notice finn is standing on FOUR legs!?! Had to keep him on a lead and tie him to a tree though But his nose was spot on. To be fair i wouldnt normally do ay ferreting now, but the job came up and the guy is a very handy bloke to get on the good side of, and that one trip should pay dividends in winter And there are two new does living in my garden
  22. Cheers guys, some good info, and now more choices and confusion Rakeaboot - That really made me chuckle mate
  23. Like i said, it seemed to get emotional Look what i started
