  1. All mine are bred by a falconer, never thought to mention it. I forgot to mention my missus' breeds all mine. Aye but does she know much about birds? Cos that totally un-related knowledge will slap another 20 quid on the price of your stinkers!
  2. Can someone explain to me what's with this 'bred by a falconer' jazz, since when are falconers renowned for their ferrets???
  3. I find it hypocritical that you are both quick to have ago at certain posts but when it is a guy with a dog posting up a pic of a dead fox you had nothing negative to say about that did you : :whistling: click here - look at post #39 and click here - look at post#14   BUSTED :toast: No offence mate, are you thick, or having trouble reading? How many times do folk have to tell you that no one has a problem with the death of foxes. Or with pictures of healthy adult fox taken cleanly. Or the need to discretely cull cubs in some areas (
  4. So how many match whippets can you name, I don't doubt whippets will catch hares from time to time, no doubt they might catch more than my old springer used to do. Any running dog will catch a few in a lifetime given the right circumstances but with all honesty, I've owned pedigree whippets that barely gained ground on rabbits on short grass that had maybe a 20 yard start. Then all i can say mate is you never had the right stock, only saluki cross owners claim to do 3out of3 5out5 ect question was can whippets do hares, yes they can but no dog has a 100% record on winter hares. Your ri
  5. most pure whippets, have good feet, sounds like you have never kept a whippet before!? Read my post it clearly states I never owned one, but saw plenty in my days, in the 60s and 70s whippet racing was very common, and Blue one, your the type a person who sits behind a key board, and tries to rubbish peoples posts, get a life and a decent dog while you are it Guy didn't really 'rubbish' your post did he, just gave his differing opinion, you're both right, poor coats and good feet. But YOU did slag him and his dogs off without knowing either. So maybe, take your own adv
  6. Catcher mate, just an example but if somebody just put a picture up of dead rabbit kits in the airgun section or ferreting section with no write up, I'd say exactly the same... Yup Hod do people struggle so much to grasp it really doesn't have anything to do with killing fox cubs???
  7. Quality tunes of late, i've seen, Placebo, Rage and Toots and the maytals live
  8. Black coat, black shoes, black hat, cadillac. . . the boys a time bomb.

  9. What's wrong with that, the man spends his days sticking them in tea mugs???
  10. Yer you can use relatives in a breeding programe. Things i look for are general health and ruggedness, a good few seasons of hard hard graft, something that stands out in how they work and a good temprament. You should need to breed rarely, as how many ferrets do you go through? I.e, i have a litter here now, first in years. I will not need to breed again for at least 3 years, but more like 6.
  11. Maxi rabits? What's that, like elephantiasis?
  12. what pups have you got Haven't picked one yet mate looking at a whippet x belington mine are bedlington/grayhound x bedlington wippet cross bedlington wippet/bearded collie grayhound ive sold 2 and am keeping this 1 just need to sell the other 4 now Sounds good mate, nice mix.
  13. How the f**k could you get pleasure from seeing or doing that? Why the f**k film it? Why put it on youtube? And why the f**k did you put it on here where you KNOW the wrong people will see it 100% ???
  14. Nice pup I guess i'd look for one of the biggest pups, out going, and a 'watcher' (smart) looking dog. If that makes sense? And if one seemed to just click with you? Last pup i picked just kind of sat and stared intently at me.
  15. Like i said originally a decent collie x, or if you want something small a beddy x. But that's just my opinion
  16. just seen the previous post so it is the tumbler ferrets i think to save confusion we should have a poll to give them a name because there not greyhound ferrets there micro ferrets ,regardless of how much they cost or well they work they deserve a name am sure the guys who buy them will test them out and post up if there any good .... Aye, i'm casting my vote for 'tumbler ferrets', or better yet 'mug ferrets' FFS they're feckin ferrets its all these fancy names angora and the like that will feck the ferret world up. 'Mug ferret' has a nice ring though mate, fit in mugs,

  18. The 'fells' are an area. Inside that area are places called , lakeland, patterdale, at least that was what i thought? Originally different 'types' ish, of a broader type? Localised to certain areas.
  19. Couple of posts up, click on the link, page 3, photos of the mythical 25 quid 'greyhounds' owned by 'Charming Dave'. If they're greyhound fert's I've got a few polecat ones its just I call mine "small" Aye mate, and greyhounds (dogs) are well known for their tiny size, so i can see how he came up with that one . . . .
  20. Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a ferret

  22. Think there are a good number out there that have / do catch hares. Whippets have better stamina than people realize. There were whippet coursing clubs and meets pre-ban.
