Out of interest how does one define 'sensible'. I find whilst many folk see me as sensible. . . . there are just as many who think im nuts. Different views of the same thing i guess. I do however think its a good idea, but what would we discuss in this sensible section? And would it just end up a very insular 'who you know' thing with folk there becuase they are someones mate, despite being a prick.

You never heard the expression 'each to their own' ? I agree it really grates on me having to knock it on the head as early as we do sometimes, however i get why some, who ferret just for sport, and dont have huge amounts of land or rabbits to go at, stop when they start seeing a lot of bellied up does, for them its just killing next years sport. Also where serious pest control is the name of the game, once there are a lot of young on the ground, it stops being the most efficienct method to ferret them, it switches to shooting / snaring etc. f**k waiting about while the ferrets slaught

After yesterdays pup mission (8 hour round trip), i was feeling pretty knackered, but still didnt get to bed until pretty late. The alarm was set for 6am, with intention of heading back over the border and linking up with Malc1, his other half and the team. You can imagine my surprise when i woke up at 8am, cuddled up to the dog and clutching the phone, which i had turned off Half an hour later, i was on the road complete with a couple of Jills and Finn. Luckily Malc and Lee had also over slept, and after linking up with staffyspen (another member who had never been ferreting!) had made t

Just in case anyoneisshort on something to have a dig about. . . we now have in our mooching team. - A Minshaw. - A Hancock blooded dog. - A Whippet. - A Bull x. So we just need to start hanging out with Mister Brick and we will tick all the boxes P.S - All this stuff about Dons age. You can measure a dogs 'experiance' in years or game on the deck, and there are plenty of 5/6 year old dogs that have not seen or taken what he has. I look forward to meeting all concerend again, and picking up another pup at some point in the future
