SJM the videohelp.com site has articles and guides on converting the different formats, there are encoders there also,i used to always get problems with AVI until i converted them to MPEG* format, i think WMM is choosy about the formats it works with, there are other good DVD making software on Videohelp, but you have to wade through most of the guides to find out which one will do the job you need, then download the tool,i only ever downloaded the free software, just read thru a few of the articles on there,i'm sure you will learn something useful, you may even find the solution to your problem,

does anyone upload pics from their PC if so what is the method as it never works for me,also does anyone use photobucket for uploading pics? Higgins.

exploit his best talents,he is doing what has been bred into him,at the end of the day you would be more frustated if he didn't use his instincts and scenting capabilities, relax, and enjoy watching the dog work for a change, too many terriers sold on for lack of complete obedience..........good hunting, Higgins.
-
Wow there looking better than the last pic you posted of them Nicola, they've 'come on' so to speak, what breeding are they, and good look this season, Higgins.
-
It could be a format that needs converting before WMM can recognise it,i used to have probs with WMM its annoying, try this site www.videohelp.com, loads of articles and guides regarding video/dvd making, converting tools etc;there are plenty of free downloads for the tools, Higgins.

yes i would say tattooing a dog is a good idea, the best place to tattoo a running dog would of course be inside one of the legs, that way anyone steals it they would know they have to tattoo over the original or chop it's leg off which would render said dog worthless to the thieves,as for a terrier it's more difficult,as you say the ears can be mutilated but that doesn't stop the terrier working, also depending on what tattoo code you use, would have to be thought out maybe you should include microchipping as a backup, don't forget if you are involved in any illegal activities the dog can then

what are the main obstacles apart from storage and security issues, with regards to why they wouldn't grant a licence, also is it as difficult now to obtain one, would you need to prove you had a legitimate use say on a farm for pest control or do most people say they want it for clay pigeon shooting to get round it? Higgins.

Putting this up for someone i know,Mitsubishi L200,2.5 diesel, taxed and MOT'D till March 2008,very clean and tidy, never used for work or Offroading, year 2002 reg,in almost as new condition, £4500. This motor was bought only to tow the caravan they bought, and i can say they have hardly been out much with the caravan, they have purchased something smaller now, this is a bargain, here's some pics,if anyone interested PM me for more info, thanks, Higgins.

these people recognise no rights whatsoever,so whatever is yours or mine is theirs as long as thay can easily take them, everyone should make sure their secrurity systems are up to date, even this will not be a deterrent but will at least make things harder for them to steal, Higgins.

this Maeterlinck fella, can he do thoughts of terrier pups minds, mine seems to be still asleep when someone walks in,takes him ten minutes to hear anything....when he's awake different story you can't stop him or put him back to sleep, anyone walks in then he doesn't go for the throat just fetches the football out of the garden for them to throw for him.......has this fella had pups before? Higgins.
-
Maeterlinck, come across that name before, what else has he written,Ditch? As for thinking like a dog,he has it off to a tee,he wasn't a human/canine hybrid by any chance was he? Higgins.
-
just checked Alans post, there's now just a dog and bitch left, for Nuttall enthusiasts Miner and Pebbles feature in the line/pedigree,they look like good 'uns, Higgins.

it's the terrier nature coming through also it is on the defensive till it gets settled down, just bought a terrier recently which was a real heller, but i kept him in the loop with family, kids other dogs until he learned there was nothing to defend himself from, just keep socialising him put him through as many experiences as possible,he will soon learn this is life,my terrier bit me fiercely,i'd never had one like that before but he is now integrating with everything around,i'd give it a good few months more yet, before you have to make a decision, all the best, Higgins.
-
good hunting and good bags Kat,look forward to your next hunting report,if it's wrong, then we'll have to send you both 'oop north for a bit o' correction....i never meant to say that.....it slipped out...er/... good hunting Kat, Higgins.

witton's right, you may have to restrain him while the ferret's are doing their job,no big deal and it may help if you let him chase the bolters and get a catch, that way he is being taught his job,so he can tell you where the rabbits are, then you tie him up and put the ferrets in,then untie him and let him catch the runners when the ferrets bolt them,Chalkwarren thought you'd help a lady out in distress not invite her darn sarf, what's wrong wi' a bit o' advice?
-
they are run as a pack, and do ground work also. i have never been out with them, but if they didnt work there wouldnt be a home for them, i do know that. eh?...is that possible? surely if they hunted over an occupied burrow they would all be to ground "sir jocelyn" style.....not after an arguement, just curious... maybe there's a book in here somewhere, give Sean Frain a ring,i see a bestseller on the way, complete with line drawings that look like masterpieces of art in the comtemporary world..........seriously, i like to watch packs hunt, but i like to see single dogs do
-
