I just want to sample it all then find out what i enjoy the most, but if you mean what you haven't done and what will you progress to next then for me Deer Stalking or some other big game, but i don't want to appear like a trophy humter, Higgins.

You always get the first snows near you Luke, must be your nearer to the Siberian weather lol, where abouts are you? Higgins.

Do you all remember the terrier song? There should be another song similar to that to cover all the breeds and emphasis should be put on loyalty, companionship and bonding, maybe there are a few budding poets on here that could pen an immortal dog song, might save the world of a few misplaced dogs, Higgins.

just the companionship and loyalty is worth more in my book, don't get me wrongi want my dogs to work but it has to be they want to work not because i force it,i would never have a dog that has to forced to work, but the dog genuinely 100% loves working, that's all i ask,but i value them even more if they are loyal and good companions for they never ask much from me and many a dog has made life worth living for just being there when humans do your head in, Higgins.

100% right and I know what type I would rather be feeding. If I buy a puppy and he is not up to the job I bought him for when he gets older, should I have to keep this dog for his whole life time? No! I bought him as a working dog and if he dont work what good is he to me?? And before everyone blames the owner for the dog not working right, that is the true in some cases but not all. I definately wouldnt keep a working dog that wasnt up to his job out of sentiment, if you have a dog that is a good worker and a pet then alls well and good, but at the end of the day if you want a worker i

Ccooneymad dog, have you been out with him in the snow yet?I would agree with some of the lads on here it might be too early for a ten month old,but then again i've done it myself and that's how you learn, plus you got enough support if there's trouble so maybe it's an opportunity for a young dog to learn whichever way, hope he turns out well.I'm out with mine tommorrow,we'll see what happens, mine is 2 1/2 yr now and i have deliberately held him back,in the past i've started them as soon as possible but i wasn't any the wiser just keen to get out with them.Nowadays i have to eat plenty of humble -
Can't see right hand side of pics just about see the dog in second pic, that's the type of terrier i like, have posted pics on here before but now it's hard work,i'll see if i can upload some of them again.... well could only manage one for now,for some reason i couldn't upload more than one image, Higgins.

I managed to get a lad from work to come out tommorrow to see a bit of terrier work, hopefully he'll enjoy it,but more to the point i've had to educate him about the media propaganda that turns us hunting folk into mindless cruel thugs,he has even told me he will come on the march if i can get him a decent air rifle!Just goes to show that if you spread the word with a little bit of enthusiasm we can get people who've not hunted to support us,atb, Higgins.

good result mate well done, Higgins

I'm coming on to this one a bit late cos I've been away for a few days. Swampy, you seem to be claiming that civil disobedience never changed anything. Sorry if I have misinterpreted you . . . but. When the anti poll tax march kicked off in Trafalgar Square in 1990 and we went down and dirty with the Met we got rid of Mad Maggy The Handbag. Even her private advisers have admitted that the weight of public opposition meant that she had to go. If we make our position clear the politicos have to listen cos if they don't they lose votes. I don't advocate violence but if it works . . . Ric

'they stopped us hunting ,they didnt take our freedom'..... IF you enjoy or play football, and the government stops you playing football, thay have effectivively taken away your freedom to play football.......our game is fieldsports and effectively you have less freedom to enjoy or participate in your chosen sport since the 'ban' has restricted or removed most of your rights to participate in fieldsports,so they have taken your freedom, just my thoughts for the moment,Higgins. Agree with what you say,can i just mention that no club on their own will do any good,Foxgun Tom illustrates that so clearly,so the only solution left is for individuals to represent themselves and fellow hunters, then maybe the clubs and organisations will support US the ordinary folk(remember there are far more ordinary folk than any organsiation,so collectively we are much bigger)we all have to stick together NO MATTER WHAT AREA of FIELDSPORTS you participate in,our voice must be LOUDER than any fieldsports organisation, the antis and the government, Higgins

get out with them in the snow,we don't have that much snow anyway and they won't catch pneumonia unless you really don't have good conditions in their hutch, Higgins.

Snow is one of the best times to be out with the dog,and your chances of catching something at home will be increased, atb, Higgins. -
WE have to be bigger than the last march collectively, even if it means getting granny's signature on her deathbed, get signatures and numbers, these are more evidently powerful than debating, Higgins.

you dont want to secure the future of our sports...? No.......folk will either continue to do what they do or they wont, hopefully most of them wont. A complete repeal now would be a free for all for every little chav and scroat and there teams of stupid mates.... ignore the scrotes and chavs for now,i expect most genuine hunting folk will report them and weed them out from the hunting community or at least be vigilant enough amongst themselves to sort the wheat from the chaff, but right now we just want to gather enough people for this then multiply enough support, your all in this,
