  1. Its a pity lads from notts did not march in the 84-85 strike only jokeing i myself think a mass trespass would get more publicity say on the sandringam estate or the estate were they USED to hold the waterloo cup it was mass trespass that got the laws on public footpaths opend up on private land by the heroics of ramblers in the peak district all those years ago. so poacher is that a 'yes' then?

  5. Come on lads and lasses, everyone get involved and just spend a few minutes sending a complaint, the longer this goes on something may well come out of it,wake up from your slumber, there's plenty of sleep when your dead, Higgins. :victory:look at the news about climate change protests or the steel workers march through a football game for inspiration, but remember this ,you'll never be heard if you don't protest, think victory and one more........

  9. Good post Nercwys,it's also fairer and survival of the fittest, the law must be prejudiced against dogs only,no need for us all to fall out with shooters v dogmen(they would love that divided we fall)everyone must be involved in speaking upand having their say, Higgins.

  12. nice pics, but i have now got my neck stuck in a right sided neck lock!
  13. As a matter of fact i haven't yet seen it but i have still made a complaint, the point is we have to stop them spewing out rubbish propaganda like this which is turning everyone against people who have guns,go fishing, ferreting, out with the dogs or birds of prey, the real point is where will it stop?Watching it will let you know what the general public are being influenced by in this case THE BBC and in particular Countryfile, atb, Higgins.
  14. ginga john apart from the hare coursing ban,it's the whole broad spectrum of hunting and associated activities that are under threat, everyone should get together for this one, this time more people need to be involved and get the ban repealed, then we can sort out the BBC later Higgins.
  15. Sounder PM INBOX should be ok now have deleted some old posts, Higgins.
  16. i try to pm you last nite but your pm box was fullsounder Sounder i've been in my pms but can't find anyway of moving them to make room other than deleting pms,is there away of moving them? Higgins.
  17. That's the problem with programmes like Countryfile,it creates a nosey parker culture and everyone starts ringing the relevant authorities to investigate incidents, where is it going to stop? This is another good reason to support a protest about the ban and get it repealed, because the ban interferes with our right to roam and restricts movement,i wonder if that was the 'real intention' of the ban,a way of controlling movement amongst the masses, being treated similar to a terrorist, after all if no one goes out much because of all the trouble you have to put up with explaining yourself and the
  18. it's best to let them live outside from an early age so they adapt to the outside temperatures, later on they can be brought in a few times, that way you have the choice knowing that it is used to be outside and accepts it without fuss,my terrier has the run of the garden at night as long as he has shelter and maybe some bedding to lie on he will be fine.I put this terrier on his own outside at 8 weeks and he is brought in a few hours when it suits me,but i put him out when i go to bed, Higgins. Good post Higgins,I was thinking about putting my Lurcher pup out with my wire and now h

  21. I have suggested that we protest in a complaint about the licence fee,(i don't own a tv and have never bought a licence in my life)i'm sure they will become worried about losing money,if a complaint was made about the fact that you are paying for them to produce biased reporting and that they don't represent all views, especially hunting communities, but it would mean having to give up your tv's, Higgins.
  22. You need to be careful whichever method is used not to leave the head embedded, not sure what the best method is,but there will be a few people on here who will suggest something. When i've had them on dogs i have used spirits of one sort or another, and on other occasions i have waited until the ticks are bloated before gently prising them out with tweezers, but if in doubt let the vets sort it,atb, Higgins.
