Took the dogs on some permission today with the missus,while walking the dogs i usually check a few earths for Charlie for the terrier's first dig,as usual there was nothing at home so we began walking back to the car,then suddenly i see something move on top of the snow,well i imediately focused my eyes and make out it was a rat as it was going dark and as soon as it began to run i shouted to the two dogs to get their attention,and they both saw it and chased after it,the pet house dog and the terrier,anyway they both grabbed it but the terrier finished the job,this was his first rat and he s

Deben do a terrier finder 16 ft and a 40 ft one,the 16 ft is same as a mk3 ferret set i believe,you could use any of them just put the locator on a longer collar for the terrier, Higgins

Not sure about this but maybe you could let them know you don't want to claim, then get it repaired as cheaply as possible yourself,the only thing i'm not sure about is having once claimed will they let it go and also do they keep it on record and still bump the insurance up next time even though you cancelled the claim? Not far off the mark there,i don't like to let them loose,i prefer to walk up with dogs on leads if possible,i'm looking for tell tale signs of good marking from dogs that are known to mark well,but at the moment i have a young terrier who's not had a dig yet but i'm watching him all the time for his straining to get in/refusing to leave sign that tells me something at home,you have to watch the dog,if a dog has a good nose you can't go wrong,at the moment my dog is being taken out by himself he has no other dog to learn from,atb, Higgins

At the end of the day it's all about the cheapest way to stay legal on the road and save money paying for insurance,just get the cheapest most reliable runners and your quids in,what you really want is third party cover as much as possible in the case of a claim,a motor is replaceable,repairs and claims are not, Higgins

Hi Kipo,how are you pal?First thing is if no other vehicle was involved i would NEVER claim from the insurance,i would just find the cheapest repair firm to get it fixed,by claiming, your insurance will go up next time.Is it woth claiming and bumping up the price of your insurance?How old was the van and in what condition?You have to look at the value of the vehicle to see if it's worth claiming for,also i only pay insurance for the reason of being legal on the road i have no intention of claiming as long as the value of my motor doesn't exceed the price of insurance,a claim will only be made

well i'm a cautious fella but i told him i'd jump at the chance,just distance and wrong timing for me to travel,the lad seemed genuine,then i saw a post about a couple of young lads on here had two good results from the invite,look up posts by 'The Eyes Don't Lie' some pics on there,nice one 'into the darkness', Higgins.

Something along the lines of those camping pegs that are shaped like angle brackets may do the trick,i've used them before and they've always held.Need to be as long as possible though for decent anchorage, Higgins. -
