  1. I have seen 3 Bull X's spayed and none of them where any different to any other breed for putting weight on... it all down to proper food management and excercise..just the same as any unspayed dog's realy ..
  2. Good going.. ... i bet them dog's are sore now..
  3. Have a few weekend's at the clay's it will help you out ten fold..
  4. I do like them a lot but i have heard that they can cause a lot of damage to the woodwork in the aviary..
  5. It does not look good to me.. a trip to the vet's ASAP if it was my pooch..finger's crossed for you that it is a harmless growth..
  6. My brother had a russel bitch year's ago with a knackered knee joint..it never caused the dog any problem's but it clicked when the dog was picked up which used to go through me.. lol.. it lived till it was 14yr's old and never once had to go to the vet's through it's bad knee..
  7. I have had my doubt's for sure trigger when getting them spayed.. but it far out weighs the problem's i have had with un spayed dog's. but then again i'm not in the hunting world of dog's to make Money..
  8. Two where saved but one look's ill.. feck know's what where killed elswhere..
  9. If one young dog done it i would accept it but two out of the pack i don't understand...i think a phone call to the lord will be in order if it has not already happened.. Fook know's what's happening with my text style by the way..
  10. Is there some kind of law again these people having out of control dog's killing chicken's on a rented cottage on a big estate..
  11. I think it was around £140 to get her spayed .. ... as for the Liverpool blanket.. she does seem to play a bit better than most pooches do that a read about on here.. :D
  12. Is it acceptable behaviour to have lab's and spaniel's let out of the back of several 4x4's prior to a shoot only to let them rag and half kill a ladies free range chicken's on a rented cottage in her own garden..only to hear one owner say well they where running all over and then walk away laughing between mate's...how would they feel if her dog's where killing the pheasant's and she said the same.. well they where running all over...inconsiderate arsholes make my blood boil.. ..
  13. I have had several bitches done over the year's and i have had no problem's with weight issue's or lack of prey drive...here is the last one i got done 7 mth ago ...she has gone from a miserable dog that used to mope about for 8wk's after a heat/season..to i lively puppy like dog again that is full of energy.. as for her gaining weight i have no problem's she eat's the same as she did before she was spayed and here is a few picture's for you to make your mind up on weather she is fat or not.. .
  14. I will never spay a bitch EVER again unless totally necesssary. Every bitch I have had spayed has ended up with spay incontinence. I'd hate to add up what I've spent over the years on Propalin. I would rather have a bitch on Propalin than a risk of mammary tumours/ovarian cancer/pyometra and a host of other problem's..i have had and seen a fair few problem's what i have mentioned with entire bitches but out of 9 bitches that i have seen spayed only one required Propalin for incontinence... but at the end of the day it's each to there own..
  15. When i was hatching Jap Quail i was going through a 20kg bag of chick crumb per fornight but not quite as much when they where under 2wk's old..once they hit around 4wk's old they where using a lot more..as much as a 20kg bag in 1.5wk's ..that was for around 160 to 200 quail.. depending on the size of the chick's you plan on rearing... i would say you will get through a bag per week once they get to 3wk's old on onward's..and maybe more...you wont really get a deffinate answer on how much you will go through exactly it just a case of suck it and see..
  16. A lot of chook's have slowed down with laying for now..you will probably get a better response when the weather warm's up a bit.. what type of egg's are you wanting..
  17. I sold a load a while back for £35 each but the price can vary either way..
  18. Get it spayed and you will be able to forget about that problem and many more..
