  1. It's a shame i'm not a Mod as i can think of several post's and member's that could easily be removed.. FFS the lass is asking for help not a load of abuse.. ..if you have nothing constructive to offer why butt in and make yourself look like a foolish child.. Good luck in your search Lint Mill ...
  2. I'm not a fan of shooting them and when out with the shotgun i would just watch them run on..BUT i must say it's each to there own if anyone want's to go out and shoot them crack on..aslong as i don't have anything to do with it that will do me.. i do understand that they need controlling in some area's but i would be a lot more comfortable seeing them shot with a single bullet..But like i say each to there own..live and let live..
  3. A Redpoll and a Muling canary nested in them last year..
  4. That's where i have come unstuck Mate.. i have two here that have a bright red blaze that passes the eye quite a bit and black bristles at the base of the beak..but they have brown wing butt's..
  5. I watched a bit of it the other day and i done my mate's head in slagging every dog of that i seen... that show must have the highest cringe factor of any other show on the planet..fooking pathetic i would rather watch a coloured maggot competition..
  6. Stick a picture up and you might get more replies as Sandy say's it could be a number of thing's..
  7. I've been busy today catching all the mules and bird's in the aviary that i don't intend to breed...i have also put a load of fresh cover in there ready for the natural nest building as none of them used the nest pan's i put in last year..my plan is to have a trio and 2 pair's of goldies and one pair of greenies.. a Lutino cock paired to a Isobel hen.. All i need now is a hand from a mate to sex these Goldies properly as they are all very similar and that will be me sorted for the fun and games ahead..
  8. There's no end of season for rat's..they are fare game and breed like wildfire all year long..
  9. I can't see the Vid but by the comment's it is something i do not like or would do with a pup..
  10. Cracking stuff .. .. and you done well there as it look's like a awkward spot..
  11. Hey man ease of a little..
  12. What do you mean OLD faces..
  13. The Teckel X is a little cracker and put just as many in the bag as the rest of them...the only problem she has is with the digging as her leg's are short
  14. Bit hard to use my imagination when theres still pictures of it running between and under rsj's with its slight injury Hello Swede. The place were the dog sustained his injury was one side of one barn, in this half grids etc had been removed so the dogs had access underneath. The saw like thigys, were, i presume to level the flooring/grids. At one side they were not jutting out so no danger, further down they were but we did not notice them in the chaos untill Rude boy actually injured himself. He was then put away in the car untill we went into the other side of the barn. Grids etc ha
  15. It's not a bother SOX as the rat's are nailed before they get near you.. well in theory.. lol .. unless you wear a head torch you are OK .. .. that is when the ball game is changed and they head for the light which is on your fore head...
  16. If you look at this picture you will see the saw shaped metal hanging down.. that will have been around 20in high from the surface...so a 25in dog running wild near them is not a good idea.. he was quickly removed from there once the hazard was found..
  17. It sure was a frantic energetic day Moll and it certainly sort's the men from the boy's ...with around 5 hr's of constant action on the last day the dog's sure did show there metal... and to be honest i could not fault any of them..and it just show's how well they did with the pup's and new comer's..which mean't the older seasond vetrans had to take a lot more punishment but they never wavered in any way.. which was good to see considering another 6 seasoned dog's would of came in handy to take turn in dealing with the rat's.. You done exptionally well Moll getting them great picture's in
  18. I am gutted for you Jim.. and i really feel for you as to what you are going through at this momment in time.. i have lost dog's well before there time and boy does it hurt even more so for someone like yourself who lives there life for the dog's and the work they do.. After loosing my last lurcher it took me 4yr's to get another one.. time does heal eventualy...and when the time is right for a new pup you can go through all your old picture's of Ern which will put a smile on your face as to how good he really was.. Keep your chin up Jim.. R.I.P Ern..
  19. Spend your money on getting your brain and dog trained.. it will be money well saved.. . the only time i would ever use this shite is if the folk who make it could rig something up to fit on a dog's head/eye's.. that way the lamp would not be needed to scatter the rest of the lamp shy gear found with NV.. I'm not again'st it as far as gun's go as it's a good bit of kit.. or if we are pre ban on Fox and Deer.... but for lamp shy rabbit's it's a joke.. Local to me you may lamp or see 20+ lampshy bunnies running full trash through the hedge.. with no chance of getting them with the pooch
  20. I don't think you have left it too late..my goldies have not started pairing up as yet so i would still give it a go..my mule canaries never started making nest's until the back end of march last year and they went on to lay 4 clutches of egg's..the first lot where infertile but the rest all hatched.. just go for it you never know what will happen unless you try..
