  2. I have thought about digging it out and replacing it with top soil.. but it's a big area and i'm hoping for a easier option..

With all this rain the lawn is just a pile of clarty mud that the chicken's have paddled in..the main reason this has happened is because the soil is more or less all clay that was dug from foundation's for a build..is there someting i can put on the ground to break the clay up so he drainage is better..
  4. I do the same Gafer.. a few wrap's around with the tape make's a nice tight ball..

  13. I know folk say the beddy gives a bit of coat.. but what a silly sacrifice of pure raw speed...once you cross a whippet with any terrier the edge has gone...maybe a whippet/grey beddy but never a beddy whippet IMO..a pure whippet will be a lot better..

They will be out but not in big number's..i have found if it blowing a hooligan (a bad hooligan) they will not travel far..and if it's pissing down aswell it is a total waste of time.. i was on land several year's ago where 40/50 should of easily been in the bag..but with them added weather condition's we ended up with 9..it may of been a coincidence but i have had similar thing's happen many other time's.. it's brilliant for cracking pheasant's and pigeon's though with the air gun..

He has wanted a dog for the past several year's and he has had many chance's of older dog's with problem's but i have stuck to my gun's with him and told him do a lot of research...and never get get a passed on older dog...AND to my amazment he has listened to every word..the same youngster comes out lamping and ratting with me quite a lot so the new pooch would never be short of stuff to go at..

  20. Has anyone got any pup's dropped or ready to drop from trusted working parent's of this make up...a young friend is after such a dog from a lot of research and help from me..and he will continue to get help from me with the rearing.. PM or info on here will be much appreciated..
  21. If the dog has not been leaned retrieve or recall you will or should know where it is by sound if it has nailed something too big to retrieve feck them silly bright collar's.. if you need one to find and get your dog back you are doing something seriously wrong..
