With a combined total of 60 years surely you should have tons of contacts ???????? , if not you need to rethink , and get yourself out there . I go beating on a Saturday not because I'm into pheasant shooting massively : / I could be out ferreting . Because I want the ferreting permission , I don't have tons of huge permissions lots of small ones do just as well ,

Been back in the game four or five seasons . Would like to think in fifteen years will have to much , and permissions have to be managed or you loose them , put in graft for them and graft to keep them. Good luck anyhow .

Well you've learned the hard way unfortunate . But listen to B.P.R , weld mesh and well built is the only option with ferrets . Cheers j .

That only really works with kits! Very hard to push finger further into mouth when the bugger is already latched on if you are going to try that do it with wielding gloves. Ha ha

Had a trip to. A large garden yesterday took the dog he had a blast the action slowed in the afternoon and he was none to impressed . Was a top day he's really confident now . Whilst netting up the third warren I checked some ruff cover for holes and put a rabbit up it ran down a fence line dog spotted it and made chase . It turned and headed across field towards a bush dog close behind . It then had second thoughts about the bush and turned into the open much to the dogs delight he opened up ran along side and lifted it chuffed I was he made it look easy , ferrets worked well and dog had a

Feck we have had a heck of a summer only just had welcome rain and we are going to have temps in the twenties next week : / as a ferreter thats bad weather.
