Well I'm speachles only ever herd ferreters tales of places like this, I was on the phone to my ferreting budy while I was walking round he said how many holes on the mega warren I said it wasn't worth counting as I couldn't tell where one ended and another began, all out in the open as well not a nettle insight and sandy soil Going on Saturday should be one hel of a day pics of the day to follow on Saturday evening ,

Yep sure was an awful day weather wise jam1 not good , worst thing was there was loads of rabbits to be had there's always next weekend mate

Well after only 5 warrens my boy is in the zone very pleased never known a ferret take so quick,working the full warren stop ends and all but is killing instantly so will have to reserve him for diging and non bolters in warrens that can be dug , had him out today and used him for just that a rabbit went back down so in he went but muppet chops here forgot to turn the collar on so I had to send my good jill in and made sure the collar was on, dug to a dead rabbit right enough , then the rain set in and I mean rain , we had started a hedge so we cracked on couldn't see all the holes then 6 h

I find the best way is shift the bugers on or make sure I never breed a litter out of them -
We had badger move into two warrens on a farm we do nit worth the hastle , just leave well alone you will soon know the shape of the entrance will change and you will start to find straw dragged out after a while

Yes but your ferret will have fleas from being in the hole thats just a risk you got to take putting your ferret in any hole.. god knows what other mange is down that hole lol. atb jon What I mean is if you do a permision with mixie jake sure before you go any where else ferreting make sure you have deflead the ferrets

You'd do well to ferret it and get rid of all the bad ones put them out of there misery and feed your ferrets at the same time,what area is it, there's some places down south hit bad
