Gutted for you , it's in the south east of England to , it's where I live this summer , it was at our permisions last summer not a sighn of it there or my new permisions either so happy days, does anyone in the south east think the 19th of september is to earlly for stuff with no ground cover ,????? When we were kids my mates dad always said don't forget your spade when we asked him what for he said to whack the keeper with while you leg it , was always a bit nervy as when we got off the estate we would have to wait for the bus to come and then once we were on it would be two fingers up to the beaters and keeper as we pulled away . Well I don't think you'll regret it I haven't muddy , I took the leap again last season after some 17 years , i did question it slightly but nothing is going to waste the land owners are happy the ferrets are happy , look at milk those poor cows have there calfs taken away at birth look at the meat production system and the end they come to halal meat that's not to kind , the gasing of rabbits what a waste , I read a post in the gaurdian about how barbaric ferreting was how miss informed I might invite that columnist out for the day , to see how our traditional past time really works
