  1. I feel for you boys,,, I do honest!!! While you've been roughing it abroad, out in the horrible fresh air, not living the dream... I've had the delight of being elbow deep in some fat b@tch's sh1t and fanny wrappers!!! Dirty cow could of used the loo upstairs, but no, just layered one Mr Whippy upon another, knowing full well I had to replace the whole thing... She didn't even chuck a bucket down... So give me a shout when you reach this dizzy height that I have, I'll be the first person to shake your hands... Hell I may even wash em first!!!
  2. This has just made me very happy! We have been considering a move for some time now and I got the sulks a bit as I was told that there is no ferreting in NZ ... I know there's loads of other hunting etc.to be done, but I do love my ferreting... How's it work over there? I know with native species, ferrets are a potential threat, are you licensed in some way or can you just crack on like over here? Snifferboy , from what I can gather you have to have a permit from the Ministry of Primary Industries and the Department of Conservation to keep a ferret and a reason to keep one( pest contr

  4. Lucky getting a pup back buddy, who ever you got it back from must be a decent person.
  5. Couple more to keep the thread going... Pups and Mum are all doing really well, they're certainly putting on some weight already...
  6. Thanks buddy, I'm usually in the dog house one way or another so I had to make it comfortable....
  7. Easy do a ton plus rabbits a night, they'd shit themselves dead, just by looking at them!!! Hell, I'd shit myself dead if I met that one down a dark alley.... Proper beastie looking beastie!!!
  8. They're looking great, a credit to you, all the best.
  9. Didn't read that properly, didn't realise it was a puppy... Leave it at home to whine if tiring it, occupying it and feeding it don't work...
  10. I go out with a couple of dogs with other mates with a dog or 2, we either go separate routes around fields or rotate following each other, one dog slipped, catch or not, back, other guy goes in front with his light and dog, slips and so on... Doesn't suit everyone but when you get a good night like it, it's fine...
  11. If I'm trotting mine alongside my bike at night I have lights on them and hi viz jackets. As well as lights on the bike, head lamp and my lamping lamp so I can shine up the road when I see the lights coming... Quiet country roads like mine around here attract a lot of Ronnie Rev-Heads in full rally mode and I've had one close call too many, so I may look like a christmas tree but at least we get seen....
  12. Note to myself, tattoo my pups ears.... Quadruples the value....

  17. Thats exactly what I have done re; siting of lamp, thank you Penny great advice as always
  18. I know what you mean buddy, my vet doesn't think it does them any favours either, but it is there and if it does get cold then it can get used, if I didn't have it, my luck is such that we'd have the coldest November on record... Pro's and con's to everything.
  19. Cheers for that G! Great little time wasters eh?.....
  20. Yeah she's 19" mate.... She'll get a blast tonight. I'm gonna go for a spin tonight, Rue's climbing up the walls!!!!
  21. So, I had a nightmare journey back from Spain and to cap it off these little beauties were born on Saturday whilst I was half way back from the Riba Roja, typical I missed it! But, luckily for me my wife is a midwifery assistant and was all over it!!! She ended up sleeping in with them to make sure everything was well! What a star my wife is, though the real star is obviously Willow! Pups are doing great, feeding well, the vet cannot believe how much milk is being produced by Willow, so I'm guessing that can only be a good thing. The litter is really even, I'm going to be keeping the smallest
