    So all the prep is now complete I think! Ended up with some carpet attached to the rails for the privacy that Skycat and Hurlock advised, which looks a bit rubbish but is definitely effective so thank you to both of you for that. She is getting huge and is politely asking to be lifted over obstacles whilst out our sedate wanders now, can't blame her! Just settling her in a bit now as the lay out of the kennel is slightly different, I think she approves... Happy hunting people....!

    Thats a good point, but they will have no chance of being out unobserved, there will always be someone poolside to pull 'em out should they want a swim!

    Yep, heat lamp is sorted, I have a socket at high level out of reach of the dogs in the kennel ready to go and the lamp is on it's way...

    Cool, I'll get something up for the privacy side of things, would it be something that would better to go over the whelping box? As I could just build a frame over and use blankets to cover it or ply what ever is best... Vet bed is on order!

    Just trying to get everything ready for Willows pups before I go away to 'work' in Spain for a week on the Ebru. Typical timing as far as the work is concerned as I get back the day before she is due to whelp but I have great back up with friends close by and a really good vet, that and my wife was a midwifery assistant so hopefully should they come early all bases are covered. I think I have everything covered as far as the kennel is concerned, whelping box is complete though I am undecided on whether to use blankets/towels or shredded paper for the bed, I have meshed all the bar
