    Think its the same old drivel myself! He points out that people don't believe in God because of their fear of death, but that God brings meaning to life! And that's just it, people need to find meaning for why were here, whats our purpose, who made us e.t.c! For some, its just not good enough to say, well there is no meaning, we're here, we pass on, the next generation comes along, so on, and so on, just like animals, fish, insects e.t.c!

    Yea i've seen those from UKtraps, but never considered buying any! I wonder do they sell, is their much demand for them!

    Lads just wondering what do ye use to anchor your traps with? I use rebar and earth anchors mostly, so what's yer preference! Wooden pegs, rebar, anchors, tied off, other? Also, bought, or a bit of DIY?

    The rabbit trap is far from ideal, but should work if the pan is light enough! Question is, have you a means of propper dispatch when you do catch?

    Its strange! The Victor 120 has been mentioned as been legal in the UK, for years now! As said, trapping company's such as UK Traps mention that the Victor 120-2 are legal, so where did this come from? Couldn't be just pulled outa mid-air! Its too specific, must be something behind it! I do have a couple of these but seldom use them! Bit ackward with the bouble spring, so only use them in box's!

    he should have said they were for a trap collection Yea totally agree! Think he shouldn't have represented himself! He doesn't seem as if he's too clued up on things! I don't think its written anywhere in legislation that its illegal to posses legholds, only illegal to use them, so he may have been his own downfall on this one! Sorry just an update! Had a look at the Irish Legislation! It is illegal to import legholds without special licence! So just be aware any yee Irish trap collectors!

    Its illegal to import or use any type of leghold traps in Ireland as far as i know! Court case recently in Mayo, where a lad was fined for importing legholds which he intended to use for mink trapping!

    Well it's easier catch a fox in a snare no doubt! Saying that, cages have their place here, especially when trying to catch fox's in built up area's, or where pets are present!

    I use mine on the rivers, so they get exposed to water alot! Think treating them keeps them working fast, + think it should prolong the life of the traps! JMO! Each to their own!

    I always treat mine! Don't like the idea of useing rusty traps!

    Havent huge experience with ladder traps, but i have noticed that if you have hooded crows in your trap, that mags won't go in! But this is not the case the other way round! If you catch magpies first, the crows will follow! Maybe if you narrow the crow measurement a little, it'll work for both! I've caught both in the same trap with no problems, but havent a clue what the measurements were!

    Of course when Squirrel trapping there's plenty to tie off to, so its probably a lot handier than carrying pegs or anchors around!

    Yea Anchors and steel pegs! I wouldn't set a trap without anchoring it some way!
