  1. So you don't think that the moderators should enforce all the rules? I didn't think it was 'off topic'. The whole point is that this forum is not what it was, and lots of decent members have left. Why do you think that is? Yes, the 'clowns' that post some pictures, and make some statements should be deleted. The problem is that the moderators (with the help of the membership) then need to make sure that they can't re-register using a different name. The fact is that these people are damaging fieldsports for everyone, especially the next generation. We all know that stuff from h
  2. I understand that, but if they were made to edit and correct their posts by the moderators, then perhaps they would remember in future. I'm all for zero tolerance of rule breaking. You often find that the worst offenders are also the dicks that need to go. Perhaps the moderators should give them 2 hours to edit their mistake, and a warning if they fail to do it. The fact that so much of it is ignored by moderators and members alike just makes it more likely to be considered 'normal'. Whatever happens, it's frustrating when the moderators come on here and ask for help from members by us
  3. My ban today would be terrier.man. He's a total cock, and not for the first time his posts paint terrier work in a very poor light. I wouldn't worry about the antis. They, and the authorities are probably already members who just don't post. Also bear in mind that this site ranks very highly on google, and anyone can view it without logging in. If the site was properly policed by the moderators, and the members thought about what they posted, then nothing on here could be used against us anyway. The problem is that since the ban there has been an increase in the number of peop
  4. Yep. I'd also like to see the promised crack down on text talk. I often report posts which remain unchanged and you never get any feedback from the moderators. The moderators are quick enough to ask for help, but often fail to act (or let the reporting member know why they aren't doing anything) which makes it a waste of time. Only this morning I've seen at least half a dozen posts using text talk. I haven't bothered to report them because it seems pointless. If there aren't enough moderators to police the site properly, then appoint some more. As for deleting the dicks;
  5. Go on then..... We are all waiting to hear your excuses and lies.....
  6. Here ye go: http://www.listentoyoutube.com/download.php?video=5CWIIoSf4nw Dead easy.
  7. I don't think we should expect anything else from a member of Jacksshed!!! He's a waste of space; and the posts here prove it!
  8. Got time to drag an injured dog around the charities in Bristol trying to get it fixed for free, and picnics so yer kids can shoot ducks, but no time for orders? Get real people..... The guy is a total waste of air!
  9. Yep, a good start would be members of this forum stopping posting about prices! And just for information, the use of Strychnine wasn't 'reviewed'; the importer decided that it wasn't worth spending the E250,000 on a data package for a product that had no patent through the Biocides Directive. We lost Strychnine because of Europe, NOT because it was cruel or any other reason.
  10. Do some research on the company and make sure you dress like you are at an interview and not on a night out...
  11. Be aware of itching and a sticky discharge..... pain when passing water may also be an indication of a 'problem member'.....
  12. There needs to be a zero tollerence of these wankers that are bringing the sport into disrepute and driving away good members. I'm sorry, because I know that the moderators work hard to keep this place tidy, but they aren't doing a good enough job! The rules are not being enforced; just look at the amount of text talk everywhere? And the same as most burglers start off by shoplifting, most of the text talk users go on to post crap. More moderators are needed, and the existing moderators need to do a better job. Just look at the recent posts on the feretting section.... why are th
  13. I heard recently from a friend that he doesn't actually make the catapults himself, but gets them cut out and finishes them himself. Perhaps he couldn't afford to pay the bill for his cut outs given his recent high vets bills? He's obviously a talented guy in the craft department, but I can't help thinking that he's one of life's victims, who is always on the 'cadge'. His recent post seems to confirm that. If you look back through this forum and his own, he always seems to have 'problems' of some sort or another. It makes you wonder if most of these issues are caused by himself.
  14. Fishfish, I see that you've now taken out insurance and got the PDSA to pay for half the cost of treatment???
  15. Animal Friends are a business owned and run by someone who actively supports Animal Rights. I would be very careful about who you give your money too!
  16. Bit strong that, what's your story then? Story? I ain't got a story..... Anyone with half a brain can see just what Mrfishfish is. Just take a look at his website and forum.... As I said earlier, a scrounger is a scrounger.
  17. WILF.Sometimes its not about the money. Its about the vets attitude. But i do think most are in it for the money. Veterinarian's Oath Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health, the relief of animal suffering, the conservation of livestock resources, the promotion of public health and the advancement of medical knowledge. I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity and in keeping with the principles of veterinar
  18. The bloke has made £40k plus selling plywood catapults and hasn't got enough money to pay for his own vet bills? If the PDSA had paid for this leach then how many deserving pensioners would have been turned away? Scroungers are scroungers. That fat bugger must spend more than the cost of insurance on food each week Save yer sympathy for someone who deserves it.
  19. they are heavey not yet dropped . This might be a stupid question, but did you know that before you shot them? How do professional pest controllers feel about killing vixens that may be nursing cubs? This is not a critisism, I just wondered what people think? This is a bit like using dogs to run deer IMO. You can't tell if a vixen has dropped her cubs through a scope any more than some of the lurcher boys can tell a buck from a doe in the spotlight. Hard hat and body armour ready...
  20. If you can't afford to keep a dog, then you shouldn't have one. It's different if you already have a dog and find yourself on hard times, but in the same way as I believe that people who rely on state benefits shouldn't breed children, people who are on benefits shouldn't be getting pets either. Life is hard for all of us sometimes, and there are systems out there to help; but that doesn't mean that everyone has a right to use them.
  21. You have to remember that Mr Fishfish is one of lifes 'victims'. It's always someone else's fault with him. Like most scroungers, he thinks the world owes him a living, and that he has the right to receive financial help from the rest of us.
  22. Don't forget that anyone can view this site, member or not. This may not be members, but scubbags just viewing. Did you put a phone number on the ad?
