  1. Yeah, no-one on THL knows more about how to destroy the english language!
  2. Why do you want to dye them? Are you sure you really need to? Could be a waste of time and money IMHO.
  3. That story is being quoted out of context. The farmer in question was keeping cattle in the dark 24 hours a day. There was a window, but it was so dirty that light couldn't get in. The local authority and RSPCA tried hard to persuade the farmer to wash the window but he refused. This went on for a long period of time. nobody is saying that he didn't keep them in the dark, it has been used as comparison, IE if he can be tried under the AWA for keeping cattle in the dark. then the RSPCA can be tried under the same law for many of its failings. I agree, and hope to see th

  5. If you livelihood depends on it, I'd call in a professional. I can highly recommend this chap: www.rpcwildlife.co.uk I think he's not far from you.
  6. A prosecution under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 could result if accepted codes of practice are not followed. It's a bit like the Highway code. The Road Traffic Act is the one used to prosecute for minor motoring offences, and the highway code is what is used to determine the reason for prosecution. Whatever you do these days, be careful. There are eyes and ears everywhere, and while you may believe that your actions are legal, and no-one is likely to see you anyway, that does not mean that someone wont try and prosecute you.
  7. How do you know all those people filmed are immigrants? This thread looks like the usual BNP/EDL bullshit to me.
  8. They shouted 'Freeze'? Are you sure it wasn't NYPD? 'Book him Danno'

    Hunting Ban

I'm not your 'son' You write about 'pricks who jump on horses at some of the prestigious hunts', what about some of the more prestigious golf clubs? Do they welcome strangers with open arms? Do they dress up in funny clothes and studded shoes? What is the difference? I must remember to call into St Andrews and ask them if I can give this golf lark a go. I bet anyone would get a warmer welcome at the Quorn. I've seen many a youngster in reboks (and other inappropriate footware) at hunt meets up and down the country. I also know many hunt supporters who own lurchers, terriers a

    Hunting Ban

Who the ban is repealed for is not really the point though is it? You still seem to think that hunting is only for what you think are the 'upper classes'. I'm not sure why, but perhaps you should read some of the other posts in this thread. As someone has already said; hunting is a great leveller. All are equal in the hunting field, and the only snobbery I've ever come across has been from the antis. In reality, the majority of hunts are staffed, and supported by some of the poorest people in society. They may not live in cardboard boxes, but I know many, many supporters who liv

    Hunting Ban

Hunting is class less! mate thats a crock! if it was classless it would be free like lamping or ferreting or poaching thats classless! not saveing up all year for a couple of trips out and extra jobs for secondhand gear! dont get me wrong each to their own! abd yes most of the followers are on foot or in cars but they are only the spectators! fans if you like of the real hunters! lol. in their scarlet coats and so very obviously saved up for from their odd jobs or put away a bit out of their benifit hunt ponies!! dont make me laugh! the hunt is the preserve of the rich and connected! sure they

    Hunting Ban

Yet more 'anti' myths on a hunting forum Hunting is classless. My wife saves up all year to have a couple of days out with the hounds. She does cleaning jobs to pay to keep her horse, and most of her kit is secondhand. The majority of followers are on foot, or in a car, and come from all walks of life. Most of them earn less than the average builder, and yet still, the old nonsense about it being the sport of 'toffs' continues. Yes, there are some very exclusive packs, that cost a pretty penny to subscribe to; but for every one of them, there are at least 10 packs run on a shoe
  13. He does have a website (Link) If you need to contact him, don't do it through the site, email him direct at molecatcher@talktalk.net. He does make and sell baskets and nets, and they are some of the best there are.
  14. Apple announced today that it has developed a breast implant that can store and play music. The iTit will cost from $499 to $699, depending on cup and speaker size. This is considered a major social breakthrough, because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them...
  15. It's not approved for use against Squirrels in the UK.
  16. I wonder how many people who claim to have shot a fox for it to be retrieved hold a valid gun licence? It would take the authorities a matter of minutes to find out for themselves....... The bottom line is that catching foxes and deer with dogs is now illegal. We all know that it's unfair, and unjust, but that's the law and until we get a decent government that has the balls to repeal the act, people must think before posting. It is a well known fact that certain interested parties regularly visit THL looking for evidence of breaches of the law. They will try and use any evidence th
