  1. looking through my phone I think % of the pic are of rocks.....maybe I did have a nervous breakdown after all Here's the old copper mine at Parys Mountain. The had an underground mine running there till the 80s. Unfortunately the mine, the bromine plant near Amlwch and the aluminium works have all been shut down taking all the jobs away...good old government eh get everyone dependent on the state and be good little voters for ever more....
  2. That's the stuff matey! There's been a few threads in your absence where me and Born Hunter have wordered what your input would be! Have one on me!
  3. Your train of thought resonates with me mate, I came to pretty much the same conclusion......you can't win because they won't let you win so I said "bollocks, I'm taking my ball and not playing anymore!" Lol I also didn't want to condem my kids to life on that fecking hamster wheel, they will have choices.......I will give them an acre each when they are old enough to build a house which will be theirs. After that, they can take or leave stuff as they please because they will have a roof over their head that they own......no matter where they go or what they do it will be sitting there waiti
  4. This is the bit where I get called a weirdo lol Here's some pillow lava and this is how it's formed
  5. My money is on a fly fisherman ha ha. I am one and I know what some of them are like
  6. Couple of Slow worms male and female
  7. Do you have any plans work wise? I'll still have to do my old job but at least when I finish we can go and burn off some stress by walking or running or something. As the wife is quiting her job we can do things together when I am not working. Since I dont actually have any work right now we'll survive on my wife's last few wages in the run up to Xmas by which time things should improve, if not we can live on the collateral out of our house for a few more months...one thing is for sure and that is when work comes back I am not going to take every single job.
  8. Some wild Orchids....never seen anything like it but I met someone who was really in to plants and she told me what to look for....my dog got five f***ing ticks because of these bloody plants lol
  9. Was he saying that about trout or just for any river? What kind of fishing does he do?
  10. As much as I would like this to be a brave new start it's more self preservation lol I would even go as far to say it's accepting defeat but not in a bad way. I've come to the conclusion that the system is stacked against anyone who is trying to get ahead in life. I've never been very materialistic but holidays and wasteful spending become a necessity so you can justify the sacrifice but when I look at my daughter I feel very guilty. For 7 years of her life I was away for well over half the year and the last 3 years were even worse as I worked even more and spent all my time working in my offi
  11. Interesting, what was here before the Saxons invaded were we more related to Celts etc or was it something else?
  12. I was told to get one by an 'expert trainer' I was a total novice and clueless. If you don't know much about dog training then stay well clear because you will create more problems than you can fix.
  13. Thanks mate I am sure you are spot on, it's just starting to hit home for me that we're really doing it You're also right if we stay here I wont be fun to be around. When I do work I do 12 hour shifts from 4am to 4pm from home so at the end of the shift I need to get out with the dog and walk a few miles but here it's just roads and more roads so I don't bother. Being able to walk along miles of coastline will be the best thing ever
  14. Cheers guys, I was planning on Oswestry a couple of years ago and I even had the kitchen done ready to sell up but then everything went tits up and I was like a rabbit frozen in the spotlight....it's funny 2016 might have just gone from the worst year of my life to the best....minor issues are that my daughter and I will be living in a static caravan until we can sell and buy something....I've shot on Anglesey long enough to know that is going to be an interesting experience come winter!! I think some of the comments about living life to the full are spot on, it's the worst thing ever be
  15. Eh up chaps not been on here since 2014 I've finally come to the conclusion that working myself in to an early grave just to try and get ahead a little in life so we can 'follow our dreams' has been the most pointless and stupid thing I've ever done with my life, although the Taxman probably loves me lol Last year my workload fell through the floor thanks to the oil price collapse and this year it finally all dried up in March. At Christmas I had a 'cancer scare' and got no reassurance from the spastic NHS doctor I went to see, not even a biopsy just a unreasuring "well it might turn i
  16. Pretty sure you can put in on your ticket but check with the FAO first.
  17. Been thinking about it for a while but changed my mind now
  18. Truly gutted to hear this today RIP Clarissa
  19. I think they put stories out there to gauge public opinion...see if we're feeling blood thirsty enough to get behind another war.....no f**king thanks!
  20. Sounds like a great day Had my first day this year last Friday, we went to Wincle near Macclesfield, it's a really nice fishery, cheap and in nice surroundings, one of the best things about it....No mobile reception! Weather looked horrible but promised to get nicer after ten am. Took the mutt for a walk before leaving and when we got up there it was a lovely weather. Young rabbits playing in the sun, cock pheasants making a racket and I didn't forget anything....even treated ourselves to some posh coffee and danish pastries. Unfortunately I blanked but since everything else was really nic
  21. Yeh the BBC is hardly impartial....they'll help rig the whole thing and stitch up Farage any way they can.
  22. thats what i was on tc naproxen and omeprazole but i gave them best i`ve kept a few for when its really bad but i found i was humping furniture and working away fine but causing myself more problems and a lot of pain once they wore off ... least i know without them how far i can push myself . the omeprazole is supposed to combat the side effects of the naproxen Omeprazol? Isn't that a stomach tablet? I got put on diclofenic but as I have stomach problems they really caused me a load of pain
