Compared to the reality socialist countries in Europe our economy is doing great. Those countries went full Keynesean and we didn't yet were doing far better so I don't think kicking the can down the road would have helped

Once you have built up debt on a credit card it's hard to pay it off especially if your wages drop. The damage was done by labour, the coalition couldn't have put in to place the austerity needed to get the deficit down fast enough because labour supporters and other lefties would have gone mental about cuts to any services. Once you have debt it grows....that is the problem and while I am no fan of Osborne he was hamstrung yet has done a reasonable job. If I'd been in charge I would have slashed public spending so hard the deficit would have vanished within a few years....I belive in paying o

But he didn't do that did he. Clinton's illegal email server was already hacked by a Romanian hacker called Gucifer. What he did say was that he thought the Russians already have the 30k missing emails (which they do) and that it would be interesting if they released them. He is an expert troll because by doing that forced the Democrats to talk about these emails..up to now they have denied there are any missing emails and now by getting angry with him about it they've basically admitted they exist and probably contain secret information. They walked right in to the trap he set. No trap.....j

Mate it's gone beyond that, they have borrowed on the strength of your grandchildrens grandchildren.............and what have any of them done with these riches beyond imagination?Did the world get one bit better ? Yep they went on a spending spree increasing public sector wages, benefits and public spending.....turkeys don't vote for xmas and they secured a lot of votes doing that. The conservatives are mildly socialist, there isn't a right wing libertarian party anymore especially as UKIP got infiltrated by lefties like Carswell and that twat from the express....luxury shoe tax anyone?

I have terrible Internet here but search for the movie 'Clinton cash'. It was made by someone who is reputable and if it was a total lie the Clinton's would be suing for libel. Their foundation has received 2 billion of foreign donations to get the Clinton's to lobby for business interests in 3rd world countries. It's estimated the cost of corruption to the USA is huge.

Unite against austerity is like saying unite against the weather. Should we keep borrowing money from the tax receipts of our children, they will go without thanks to the greed and selfishness of our generations unless we get on top.of it right now. It amazes me that young people fall for socialism and think it's something new....we've had it in the UK and it never did anything good. More government is never a good thing luckily most people including Labour voters are well aware or this which is why Labour is polling so baddly.

He's an expert in stealing the limelight. A highly intelligent man with an IQ of 156 a successful businessman and someone who understands what it's going to take to fix the USA. He is a richer more intelligent version of Farage and I strongly advise you to watch his speeches and not to get suckered by the MSM who are vilifying him as a racist and sexist...sounds familiar doesn't it? This guy will be the best thing for the US and as a result many eu members will fall in line with his way of thinking.

Exactly. How many people know that Libya was because the French and British wanted more control over the oil...See Clinton emails. Or that Syrian jihadis are funded by the US French British saudi's and even the Turks are directly responsible for funding and supplying ISIS proof can be supplied. Or how about the Ukraine coup which was instigated by the US and EU? No ones gives a crap.

My dad worked for the CEGB and we have a family friend who was a nuclear scientist of sorts, he designed switches that weren't electric and used water or something mental. During the 70s and 90s here was loads of hysteria over nuclear thanks to the cnd etc and nuclear power became a political weapon and very unfashionable like fracking is today. The short version is that we cut research and funding for nuclear science and we simple do not have the expertise anymore...they're all retired.

Yep Wilf's right there. Even though everything is going down the pan for us were not in the worst situation ever as we have collateral in a house that is suddenly quite desirable, we only have one young child and I can work from home or at least go back overseas in the worst case. I recon the main idea is to start forming some kind of escape plan which is what I was doing subconsciously for years.
