  9. Well the only deben I've used with terriers is the mk1 which I still use out ferreting and is we good, but I've got a mk3 ferret locator and its a piece of shite, so if the long range is anything is like that I wouldn't bother, If your just doing small spots I'd get another mk1, Cheers fd.

  12. Well if there was a few gaps in the hedge I would run a few stop nets or short trammel nets through them, then hang poke nets on any rabbit runs in the hedge, and also purse net any open or easily acessable holes and try and have a dog handy, also If working alone I would probably only drop 1 or 2 ferrets in so that the rabbits aren't bolting everywhere, Cheers fd.
  13. Bought a few poke nets and stop nets and trammel nets of netrigger of here, and there all brilliantly made and were very good price wise, also got a freebie! And bill is very good to deal with, can't reccomend him enough, Cheers fd.

  22. I did it this time of the year as I was being stupid, I was told not to but dident listen, it was annoying because you have to keep them on the lamp so much longer which costs more £'s, also it's just more work, having to clean out the pen everyday for longer, and tbh I dislike bators anyway, I only use broodies now, far less hassle.
  23. I don't think it really matters if he has the time, just why make it harder for yourself? I've hatched them in a bator this time of the year and it's a fecking barstward.
