  1. nice dogs mate and they look like they can take care of them reds all right
  2. has anybody got this cross and if so do you have any pictures and what are your dogs like at ferreting because that is what it will mainly be used for, any info would be appreciated.
  3. me and my dad took are half golden retriever, quarter collie, quarter lab out ferreting once and he did well marking the warrens and holding the rabbits in the nets but he is better suited to hunting up and catching his own rabbits because he has a fantastic nose.

  10. gull terriers are absolute nutters and are used for dog fighting and bear baiting in asia and i really cant see a use for one in this day and age in britain

  12. in the patterdale terrier he just keeps on mixing them up with lakelands and fells and it sounds like he has never worked a patterdale in his life

  14. warren of here has got some neat little basset and basset crosses it might be useful if u talk to him about hounds atb
  15. id never heard of thier stuff before either exept of edrd but i suppose that is a good thing because they are producing small amounts of good quality dogs instead of loads of half decent dogs
  16. those caucasion ovatcharkas are the fiercest dogs in the world and are better guard dogs than any malinios
  17. when my border x patterdale dog would not come to us when we let him of the lead because he just ran of and started hunting and would not come back we tried using treats, shock collars and a long line but he still would not come back so we just let him of and when we called him and he did not come back my dad just smacked his stick across his ass and since then hes been coming back perfectly, until yesterday when he was hunting through some long grass he put up a fox and he chased it into a huge bramble patch, so me and my dad just stood there with are other dog and waited then after about a m
  18. i live near haverhill and i have never heard of ratting pack near me
  19. depends what collar if it was an old mk1 collar i would dig 10 foot in easy ground if it was an mk3 collar i would dig 15 foot in easy stuff and if it was a bellman and flint collar i would get a digger and go as deep as i needed to
