    I go back to my original comparison then Socks, running deer with lurchers. Surely by your ethical stance we cant justify using dogs to run deer that aren't capable of instantly killing it's quarry? Dogs would pull their deer out of sight all the time and unless it had the power to cause the deer huge and instant trauma to the neck the deer would be fighting and bleeting for its life for as long as it took for the human involved to find it. Surely we can't justify using terriers that will work a fox in a hard maner because the foxs death will be a drawn out affair and far from instant? We just

    I honestly think we won't be seeing another Pink Floyd studio album with all new stuff, I think they know deep down that spark isn't there. Too much water under the bridge and Gilmour and Waters always clash creatively and they don't want that stress this late in life, well Gilmour dosen't.

    With the cover still up and the weather still warm I've been doing a bit more fishing than usual so i decided to take the lad fishing again. We got up bright and early to get to the fishery at first light though it was quite brisk at first it did warm up quite quickly and turned into a beautiful day weather wise, though the lad and the dog disturbed a wasp nest and got stung a few times but apart from being uncomfortable they were both fine.     Knowing Tom and the land he works and how he works it, something along the lines of a collie/whippet would suit him. The collie would give the dog a bit of a stronger frame for crashing through them hedges and handling the bumps better, with the added patience and a bit more trainability to boot(well in theory lol)
