So what was it then.......a localised flood,a great flood or a global flood? Anything other than a global flood and a ark full of all the animals wouldn't have been needed, if it was a global flood why didn't the ancient egyptians document it? The egyptians are fond of documenting stuff with thieir hieroglyphs and such, I find it strange that they didn't document it having been around at the time !!

Funny enough he's asking to go fishing for fish he can eat so a bit of trout fishing is in order. -

Watched a welsh speaking program a few years ago on S4C about it I did, real interesting how they've kept their heritage. On my bucket list to go fishing in Patagonia, I'd have to pop into Trevelin too I would, that would be a tidy trip.

Haha. Fair play he really enjoyed it, he had a few tangles and got caught in the reeds now and then but thats par for the course I suppose. -
Took the lad for his first real fishing session yesterday, got him set up on the 4m whip to start just to get him used to striking, within no time he was catching well. Though he was only catching little fish it was good practise for him picking up fish on mostly every drop, within no time he was baiting up himself and unhooking fish himself. So after a hour on the whip I put him on the rod on a waggler and tbh he took to it great and even caught a couple of small carp, he's got the bug already and is already asking to go again, so its happy days.

Exactly the same reasoning can be used when discussing creationism. We weren't there for either, its ok to debunk the big bang for that reason but not creation......go figure !!

But surely Von daniken does not rebuff the bible, he just puts another interpretation on it? TC Correct TC, like Daniken once said " were would these people get the idea to paint an alien and a craft ?if they had not witnessed something to inspire them" was that not have how the bible was written? on the same or similar principle Daniken was found to have a few wrong claims and they've tried to discredit it yet "Dr" Kent Hovind LOL has made a few himself but creationists take him as gospel, he's sat in jail at the moment for being dishonest kind of ironic really. I'm glad I live in the hills where I do, there's not much in the way of employment opportunity's here but we do still have a strong sense of community. We don't suffer like a lot of the UK does with huge influxes of foreigners and long may that continue, I really do despair at some of the things going on in this country.
