No more of a lie than some think the bible is, neither the bible or evolution have been proven 100%, but thats not to say either one is a lie? Nor is anybody in a place to call others liars for the beliefs. No point with him del he's a zealot and like all zealots its his way or the highway and he's a little tapped imo.

So all these Christians around the world are praying to the one true God for lets say peace and love in the world, WHY are these prayers not being answered? If it was that simple then we'd all be devout Christians and lead this wonderful life with no pain and suffering, why don't amputees who are devout get their limbs back or children whose parents are devout Christians still get cancer and other life ending disease's?

What does reading the bible accomplish? I've read it and its not swayed me to believe in it, and as for my kids being taught lies in school what a crock of shit, you see fraz not everybody is gullible enough to think they'll get struck down for not believing in a deity. You see millions of people have very fufilling lives without welcoming Jesus Christ into their lives, just because you believe it dosen't make you superior or better than anybody !! If my kids pray every night to God will their prayers be answered? Will my kids know right from wrong if they choose to not believe?

What about the tablet that Irving Finkel has that says a ark was built in 1750BC well before Noah's? You say the bible is this authentic piece of literature but why was this other ark story over looked?

Cheers lads of the 2 of them I did think that Lexie wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as her brother but I was wrong, I think I sat on my box for about half hour as I was relegated to sitting on the banking fishing. -
Well last week I took my little lad fishing so this week was his sisters turn. Got her set up on the whip to get her used to striking and she was into fish from the start, though they were only gudgeon and roach she was kept quite busy. She done really well considering she's never fished before and as with the lad last week I got her on the rod and almost straight away was into some carp which she handled really well. Looks like I've got 2 young uns who enjoy a bit of fishing. I done a bit of fishing in between learning Lexie the ropes, I was fishing on the banded pellet on the method and

I started coming on here around 07 when I used to go to a butty's house and he was already on here, decided to set my own account up about 5 years ago. Met a fair few off here through hunting, the fishing comps and game fairs/dog shows, a good few I class as true friends. There been some classic craic on here over the years fair play.

He was great to have around fair play, I had the usual 100 questions but thats nothing new with him. He's nagging to go this weekend but I've got to take his sister so he's not happy but like I told him when they're both competent they can both come along. -

So only the bible is allowed to use the terms "taken literally", they were just parables etc? Whats to say the egyptians records of stuff ain't taken out of context !!

The young uns will sit for hours if they're catching stuff and them little fish can keep you busy, he was into it fair play. -

We got a nice little river by us that holds some good brownies, I've fished it for years freelining worms and suchlike but its hard work to fly fish it especially for a novice, got a few stock ponds by us though I'll try him on one of them I expect.
