Its really strange? The other two appear to be trying to help her Every time the jill goes near her they get in the way and grab her by the neck? She is about the same size as the rest of them considering she is only 11 weeks old but the big bully is undeterred? Its a nightmare really! I just wish the young jill would chin her and be done with it. I'm just going to have to introduce them very slowly and hope for the best Fingers crossed eh.

At first thats what I thought but she seems to be biting her all over now . Im putting two of them together in the garage at a time so they can play together and she is fine when she isnt with the kit. The other two are great with her and she is fine with them. Its just the one jill Im having bother with.

In the cage, the garage, the sleeping quarters - just about everywhere they are in the same vacinity. They have a bed in the actual hutch and a small bed (Which I call the out house ) in the court area which is big enough for two ferrets. Oh, they also have a hammock attatched to the first floor of the hutch area. So really, theres plenty of spaces to sleep for them all. Im having to separate them at the minute as the kit is terrified.

Yes, they have a similar vein which you can clearly see. I find the best time to clip their nails is when they are very tired and I just use normal nail clippers.

I have quite a bit of permission an hours drive away from me, a golf course, a cricket club and a huge garden with the two fields behind it. After going once a few weeks ago - word has travelled and I have just been contacted this evening by a farmer with loads of land!! He was given my number off the man who gave me permission at the Cricket Club Now, he was very adamant that I have some sort of insurance, luckily Im a member of The Countryside Alliance and as such have insurance, after chatting for a while - It turns out that the man who had permission up until a few weeks ago fell down a

I got a new kit on Friday and I have them all in together in the one hutch. There's four of them and the hutch is more than big enough for them all with plenty of tunnels and toys for them in the court part. They get taken into the garage for a good few hours every day to play where I have loads of stuff for them to exercise/ play with - so lack of exercise cant be a factor. I also play with them at least twice daily. Now one of the older ferrets keeps attacking the kit who is 11 weeks old. The other two are fine with her. Its not just occasionally that she's being attacked - its every time t

My dog who was PTS last year used to spend the two weeks before and the two weeks after fireworks night in an absolute state It was an awful thing to see. I honestly think they should be banned and only saved for organised fireworks nights, they are so dangerous and so many people get injured every year because of them!

Rabbits where possible James Wellbeloved ferret food when I've nothing raw in for them. Do like to feed them their natural diet though when I can.

I decided to get one more ferret today unbeknown to my other half She is the double of my albino jill just smaller. So when my other half came home I put the albino back in the hutch and left the new one (A kit) in the garage with the others. She was picked up and cuddled as usual when my other half got in and I was asked ' Whats happened to her?!!' She has shrunk! After a few minutes of playing around with her I went and got the other albino much to my partners suprise Eventually I explained what I had done and said 'what difference is another ferret' Thankfully, all is well and her nam

Yes, I saw it and was seething in the chair!! I bet all the negative comments would be put aside if any of the presenters had a rat infestation!! I dont think they would view it as another 'blood sport' then How ignorant.
