Right, Im after a decent lamping kit that will go on my rifle scope and convert to a hand held lamp too, the thing is I havent got a bloody clue what Im looking for and dont want to waste my partners money getting the wrong one (Ive been promised it for my birthday )Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

I went out with Longdogrunner last night on my permission, when we left the house it was quite cloudy but when we got to our lamping fields it was like being out in daylight - so much so we saw two foxes in the distance with the lamp off The wind was right down too despite the fact that the golf course we were on is right on the coast!! Nevertheless we still had a mooch about with Bruce and Billy and had some excellent runs with the dogs There's something about rabbits on golf courses they're so fast but Billy got one and Bruce got another then we decided to call it a night (Well, we did w

I can honestly say it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen (Sorry Woodga )First his leg went in the air then he just bounced down the rest on the embankment straight into the river, it was very hard not to laugh I was pleased he was ok, he was very brave!!

A good night? I had a brilliant night!! Typp was excellent, only his fourth time on the lamp and in the end he was retrieving to hand he managed to catch well into double figures One of the runs was excellent too - he was like lightening and was right on the rabbits tail the whole way!! It was great fun to watch. Yes, I got caught up on some barbed wire and poor Woodga had to strategically get me off without tearing my trousers in a rather embarrasing place He even did the shit kickers waltz straight down a steep embankment and into the river to celebrate!! i had visions of the air ambulan

I agree completely, he's been having the dog over for the last two months a few times a week so that he gets used to his new environment. The woman he got her off was unable to look after him anymore due to health reasons and he tried his best to do everything right for the dog, yes, giving him a bone clearly wasn't the best idea in the world but he's going to change a few things so that the same situation can be avoided in future. He's going to give the dog another chance and follow Ditch Shitters advice. One of my dogs is a nightmare with a bone but I can take it off her without getting bi

And thanks Simoman, Ive offered my mate my spare cage to put the bed in, at the moment he has got his own space but I believe its just in his kitchen - I really think a cage will give the dog the privacy it deserves.

From what I can gather the dog is in the dog house so to speak and is still cowering in the corner as I write this He's a sensible lad who did loads of research about the breed before he took the dog on. I just hope it works out for him in the end.

I hear what you are saying His son is 14yrs old and he NEVER leaves them alone together. One of my dogs goes off her trolley with a bone and burries it then stands guard over it growling at all who go near, mind you, I was able to take it off her without being bitten Now both my dogs dont have bones due to her behaviour.

My mate has just this minute phoned me to say that his dog bit him earlier tonight and he had to go to hospital with puncture wounds, he's now on antibiotics and had to have a tetanus injection. The dog is 2 years old and he only just got him two weeks ago from someone who was unable to keep him any longer. He gave the dog a bone and his son went near him but he growled so my mate took the bone straight off him and was bitten in the process. Now, he said his immediate thoughts were to get the dog PTS in the morning but has since changed his mind and has decided that no more bones are to come i
