  1. :lazy: Hey, I provided the soup for the day Fair enough - I didn't make it But I made sure it was there Anyhow, the last time I started to dig you said ' Its obvious you've never worked at a building site!!' Can you just imagine!!
  2. Longdogrunner and me are both going to go for it!! I might just have to wear some american rugby style tops with lots of padding though to fire one Ive got a LOT to learn but I will do it, mind you - I can honestly say I dont think I will ever be a good shot like you!! I was stunned when you hit that rabbit on the run down a hill (Apart from the fact that you didnt fall!! ) that was some awsome shot!
  3. What a brilliant day we all had longdogrunner and myself had a good few catches too - he's got the pics on his camera which he'll be adding at a later date. He had his 3 ferrets out on their first rabbiting trip and they did him proud as did my star ferret 'Daddy cool' she was like a little warrior We had two occasions where we had to dig down to the mk3 collars despite putting them on really tight, luckily we had the ferrets out before the dig started  My lakeland x couldn't go she was quite ill all weekend but is fine now I got to fire a shotgun (under close supervision ) and

  5. Great post Mr Tea Pot. It looks like such a lovely morning to be out ferreting.
  6. Hi whin Long time no speak!! He's right - you wont be disappointed! I was out with him last year and had a fab time
  7. Great post! What I'd do for a bag like that!
  8. This is a good picture of what she looks like.
  9. Top job there! Thats a great looking set up
  10. I found the one I wanted on photobucket... This is my Patterdale taken when she was 2 months old. This is the pup and the vet reckons she's around 9 weeks old. The vet said she definately has EBT in her but god knows what she's crossed with? Quite similar markings to a Patterdale which I suppose has made me think she could be EBT x Patterdale. Wish I knew but I guess I never will.
  11. Im at work at the minute but when I get home I'll put up the picture of my patterdale and one I took of her on saturday - I know most pups look the same but there's a striking similarity.
  12. Thats exactly what I got and what I paid too. I got mine delivered and the driver thought he was at the wrong address and couldnt understand why I needed that much Best thing I ever bought to be honest, I made this for them with it.
  13. This was her on saturday whilst ferreting.
  14. I wish!! Ive spent all this season getting permission but no matter how hard I try I cant get any that involves digging to foxes! This despite having permission for someone who keeps chickens and hates fox hunting?? The lines the white lakeland comes from should mean she will be great at it and Im a bit gutted that I havent had a chance to test her yet, having said that she's only 14 months old.
  15. Mine have already put her in her place!
  16. This is the best I can do, she wont be still at all unless she's asleep
  17. The last dog I had before Molly and Daisy was EBT with Labrador, you are so right - they arent for the faint hearted I'll get a pic asap and post it.
  18. I tell you something, there would be no body happier than me if it turns out she has some kind of running dog in her But whatever, she's here to stay and if working doesn't work out then the kids and my other half can have her as a pet - it might stop the ear bashing I get for taking the dogs out all day rabbiting
  19. She was being treated quite badly She will be a working dog like my other two, if that doesnt work out then she will be a pet with a pink collar apparently!!
  20. To cut a long story short - I ended up rescuing a pup yesterday I think she's between 6 - 8 weeks old. Whats in her breed? I think english bull terrier with patterdale perhaps? I'd be very grateful for anyones opinion mind

    snow

Its been snowing here all day on and off but it isnt lying. Apparently its going to be really bad throughout the night - I'll believe it when I see it
  22. Thats what I did too. Most builders merchants sell it - go in and ask for 100mm drainage tubing. Its really easy to cut to with a stanley knife.
  23. Thats a great looking net! Looking forward to your pics of it in use
  24. Thats a very good point stubby If putting it on a concrete base isn't possile then you could try covering the floor with pond liner? I used that in my last hutch (The one with the floor in) and I took it a few inches up the sides too. The floor stayed dry and it was easily wiped clean. I dont imagine the pond liner would last as long as it should in those circumstances mind, but its far easier to replace that than a whole new floor. By the way - its looking like a great set up
