Walking through a wood years ago i saw a stoat cross in front of me...i ran quietly to where he'd disapeared, i crouched on top of the bank behind a tree and begun squeeking...Nothing.... i waited a bit and still nothing...i carried on squeaking and saw a rabbit coming hell for leather towards me...I thought the stoat must be on it... it stopped and stood on its back legs and was looking in my direction...it then set off towards me again...about fifteen yards off with no stoat following i shot it...Took it back with me and told the headkeeper what had happened...Was it a male...it was....Aye w

  14. Looking good Molly...Its exactly the same for me I've had some of the blue iris same as yours, but mine have been finished around a week now. I also like the Aquilegias , the wild ones (columbine) have been crackers this year mainly pinks through to purples. Here's one of the cultivated ones flowering at the moment The red flower looks like a variety of Canna to me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canna_%28Plant%29_Gallery i have one, but its only just broken the surface, i got it to replace one of the aquilegias i drowned Its a learning curve
  15. Had a bit of crack with a couple of travellers in the pub the other day...the missis attempted to join in the conversation and one of the travellers said "dear lady...i'm not talking to you, i am wishing to speak with the gentleman" Beautifully worded
