I would not bait my traps if i was after squirrel...that said whatever else you would catch is a ... just keep going you'll get them in the end ... whatever else you catch is a bonus at this time of year if your catching mice then you can set far finer thatn me...which i would say is too fine ... under two traps i have woodmice living often wonder if when i take a rat out of them whether the mice have ne.ne..nee..neee...na the captive Shouldn't worry too much...gun + traps = no squirrels

Got another...by the arm ...the little birds had their revenge on him thought it had some sort of mange till i went back for the camera... and the pluckin comenced ...nice fur if your lining your nest Had a rat as well...first catch for the trap in the same area

Unluckily for me my oldest dog before she was six months found a hedgehog, and ran off with it, putting it down and yapping at it...I walked away...she followed at a distance...i turned round...she ran off again Got her out of that thank goodness. Then before i trained her not to get hold of birds...she caught a wren Another time way out on the fell she returned to me with a dead badger , it was cold and had no visible signs as to why it had died. I'm just glad no walkers were around as it would of been Blue Eagles time The funniest was when out for a late night stretch, not hunting but

In the house the other day and heard a major chorus of alarm calls...went out just in time to see a sparrowhawk struggling to rise from the thicket behind the neighbours greenhouse...it then it flew off with a bizarre up, down, right, left flight pattern...with a collared dove :clapper: -
Used a bacs...think its that name anti stress herbal remedy around bonfire night..worked well..bit of excercise, no drinking...bowl of 1/4 milk 3/4 water on return with a couple of drops of the stuff...well chilled. Bit like the drink... you wouldn't want to much...if you wanted to be at your best.

i've been bitten accidently as has the missis, breaking up bitch fights. I've been bowled over numerous times the best of which was when out lamping, the dog at full pelt, knocked me down a banking into a load of gorse bushes The newest dog i have i had to threaten with a stick as he was returning that fast and would just run into me or anyone else he chose to run to Just didn't bother him at all one day he meant to run into the cellar, and ran into the house wall at speed shit in hell i thought he's gonna drop...he never made a sound, he just raised his head looked at the wall, t
