Had an sj410 van years ago, great little 4x4, went anywhere, great for pulling logs out of the woods and great fun in the snow.Head gasket went on it in the end though.Parts are dirt cheap and plentiful as there are loads of online specialists.

Thanks again for all the positive comments folks. Credit must go to the guy who bred him, anyone at the welsh game fair this year will have seen him with a couple of bitches from a previous litter, he won the rough coated pair class with them...thats how I found this pup, got talking to him and he mentioned he had a 3 week old litter at home, I'd just lost Gelert my 11 year old deer x through an ongoing illness and was on the lookout for this kind of cross, so the timing was perfect. All my dogs have to have good stamina as I am also into hillwalking (in all kinds of weather) and regularly do

Cheers lads. If he turns out anything like my old deer x , then I'm onto a winner. I took a lot of time when picking this one from the litter and so far I'm more than happy with the choice. He's a quick learner too, even at 4 months he's 100% off the lead and with livestock. Only time will tell I suppose, but really looking forward to starting him next season.

I have been known to wear camo occasionally for the simple reason that the military surplus stuff lasts forever and more importantly is dirt cheap. Wide brimmed australian bush hat does what its designed for in the summer...especially if youre getting a bit thin on top! and everyone knows that the welsh climate is akin to that of the antipodes...they even named one of their states after us!! But why is it that most of the people I see at the shows wearing trainers and jogging bottoms are on the portly side?!...are they going to the shows to take part in the 100m sprint? : ) -

Haha, latest pup pics are on another thread...these pics were taken on the spur of the moment with a cheap point and shoot camera, no editing, no enhancing, nothing, just exactly as they were on the camera. Quite pleased with the results.
