I know Thetford quiet well, not been there for a few years but in fairness a lot of the population were mongs before the Tsunami of incomers but it seems the government have thrown a lot of petrol on the fire. That town will be pure f****d now, make no mistake.

They sent a bloke out here to the local pitch with a metal detector, they wanted him to check for lost studs and any metal objects for health and safety reasons.......3 weeks that poor c**t was digging in one spot before he realised he had steel toecap boots on !

There still enough people in the world with a couple of hundred grand to sling at something or use the tax break and think they can just knock off a Guy Ritchie film but it don’t quiet happen like that. Whatever you think of the Guy Ritchie films you have to remember that these people have genuine creative talent and not only that, they have producers and co writers around them who are equally as talented. Matt Vaughan was a producer on Lock stock or Snatch and look what he has gone on to do with his company MARV........Layer Cake, Kingsmen, X Men etc etc but what you don’t notice in

The thing the local GAA clubs get very right (and the Irish FA get very wrong) is that they put money back into the game and the community. You will see tiny little towns with about 5 houses but they will have a really good GAA pitch complete with clubhouse, changing facilities and flood lighting and the local clubs are the heart and soul of the community. They are great at getting kids involved, it’s cheap and the coaches put in a lot of time and effort. If the FA copied the GAA then Ireland would be a footballing giant !!

It’s funny, GAA lads are some of the fittest amature athletes you will come across. Gealic is touted by many as a real rough, tough game but the truth is it’s far from it. You will see much more aggression and physical contact inflicted in your average Sunday League football game on a Sunday morning almost anywhere in the UK. Its much too gentlemanly and the refereeing is dogshite......it could, without the refs be a real tasty game but because the refs won’t allow any nastiness it’s pretty ordinary in truth.

For every other human being on the planet outside of Ireland, Hurling is a game they play with a ball and stick, they then try and knock the ball between some rugby posts.........that’s about the strength of it. This has been a public service announcement.

There was the whole little gang of Fairbrass, Dyer and a few other going about for a couple of years getting people to invest in productions like that.....they knew they were no Scorsese job and that they would come to f**k al but I think it got them boys a living when times wasn’t that busy for them

Ahh, fair play to Danny Dyer......a kid out of Canning Town who has done alright. I personally thought he was good in The Business and f***ing epic in Football Factory.........although it’s his pal in the movie that delivers the best diatribe of the film sat at the table with his prospective in-laws whatever, Danny will hold a special place in my heart just for this:

I genuinely find any of these type of films cringeworthy........I know I couldn’t bring myself to watch it. You pretty much know what the format will be blah blah. I honestly don’t know what they are trying to convey?........the reality is that the bloke hurt people for money, there is no getting round that.
