I always wondered what happened to Micheal Flatly !

Remember, an act of kindness is not an investment you get long term return on.....it’s a thing in itself and in knowing there’s a tiny bit more good in the world than there was 5 minutes ago.

I dont think you can look at in terms of “flogging a dead horse”........you will be the person you are and do what you do, what the person you have thrown a chance to then chooses to do is totally out of your control. If it’s in your nature to help folk then that’s what you do, sounds like you are the type of bloke who is happier to know you did what you could even if it leads nowhere because you wouldn’t feel right if you did nothing. Few more like that required in the world mate.

Everything we have been talking about......simplified by an Englishman........

As I’m sure you know, what I mean is that I don’t care what Trump does.......I’d rather have Peter Sutcliffe running the world that this f***ing nightmare

What would I want to do that for? .........

Thanks to labour and the EU there are 700,000 poles in the UK, add to that labours core base of 500,000 Pakistanis and 700,000 Indians, 5 or 6 hundred thousand Africans.....that’s a few roofs there. Need I continue ?

And all the while, Ireland’s young people are leaving every year in droves.......but hey, as long as a few old men are getting their CAP subsidy who gives a shit right ?

Not at all, we all know what the reality is.....if you want to put a silk hat on a pig be my guest.

Do you know what mate, your question about “how comes people have questioned other politicians motives but they seem not to question trump” has had me thinking for a while about why that is, and I certainly fall into the above category because I hate almost all politicians but will happily find and excuse for trump.....guilty as charged! And, it has suddenly just struck me what the reason is.........I don’t care! I have also come to a realisation about why I don’t care, I don’t care because what we have had so far is, in my opinion, so bad and so sinister that no matter what he does.

I think the EU commission have played Varadkar like a fiddle and just like Britain’s own mob, he was happy to bend over in order to kiss their arse. I think his time would be much better served actually trying to talk sense and make sure Ireland comes away from all this in the best position possible. But hey, like every other memeber state that isn’t France or Germany, I guess he will just do as he is told.

Totally agree with that mate, when I was stupid enough to still beleive I voted conservative with one thing in mind.....just get rid of the Tony Blair party and I thought to myself “Surely everyone can see this is f***ing horrible and sinister” and I believed (I feel stupid for it now) that sanity would reassert itself in the next parliament.......but no, it just carried on exactly the same and what’s more they even expanded on it ! Young people round my old area need a minimum deposit of £52 k to buy the cheapest 3 bed house in town !.......and then they need £2k a month clear to stand s

Must just be me lads, my kids are always saying “oh, here he go’s again” ......but f**k it, I’ll never have any love for this Blair version of my country.

Ssshhhhh......we don’t want any jocks getting wind of it

Same every where for those pricks mate, difference seems to be here is that so many people seem to have bought into it......I can’t beleive my eyes. Water charges in ireland are a good example, folk there just said “shove em up your arse” and they stood together and they had to scrap them......that would never happen in the UK, sure we would make a lot of noise about it in gossip , but they have everyone by the bollocks so everyone would have been too shit scared not to pay it. Another example is these pay day loan companies, the telly in the UK is full of adverts for them....

The little town where I lived the greater part of my life (23 miles outside central London) used to be exactly like the little town I live now. Only 30 odd years ago, my uncle used to drive about pissed as a pudding....load s of old boys did. That seems terrible now, but it was pretty much like Ireland now where as if you did no harm you were fine but if you did something serious then god help you. I remeber the local copper copping for my uncle after a family funeral, my uncle was upset and had been at the scotch but was giving my mum a lift home.....the copper knew my uncle ha
