Don’t tell lies, it’s the most terrible idea of all time ! Lol lol
-
Yep, I have had some amazing encounters ! Lol
-
Ahh they knew they had a special talent mate, they don’t fly 12 year olds half way round the world along with his dad, set them up in a house and pay for his medical treatment to help with his growth for nothing.
-
Is it something you have done before mate? I did it for years, it certainly gets you interacting with some strange and interesting people !! Lol Keep an eye out for the fixed lines left by Eastern European’s and keep a close eye on any of them fishing......them c**ts will be having a £2k carp for their Christmas dinner if you give them half a chance.

Oh I understand that mate, and if there wasn’t anyone else then I simply wouldn’t vote.
-
“Tactical voting” ......was there ever a more hideous term for “I’ll stick my principals to one side” Im sorry, but I learned a very long time ago that sometimes in life (many times in fact) you have to cut off your nose to spite your face in order to stick to what’s right. Now, that will mean different things to different people and for some it will mean voting Tory when they are life long labour. For me, it would mean not voting for any of these f***ing charlatans that have so blatantly ridden roughshod over every principal of democracy and decency and truth the last 4 years.

Ronaldo isn’t even the best Ronaldo to me ! Lol
-
I have always said you can’t say who the best is out of him and Messi, they are completely different players mate.
-
I think the thing you have to respect him for is, he built himself. Messi was born with his talent and obviously worked very hard too, but Ronaldo actually took himself from mediocre to the player he is now by sheer will, determination and hard work......you absolutely have to say that is his greatest gift to any aspiring young player.
-
Well, when a lad says that to the staff and you can see he means it then you know you have a player round you mate
-
As you well know mate, football and football clubs are an all round thing.....you want to play football that players want to play and in so doing be a club players want to play for and stay at.......it’s creating an atmosphere and culture that’s important. Players come to clubs like us for a reason, at the moment that reason is that it’s where they can have a job in Europe and the premier league.......they don’t come to us because we are West Ham united or because the football is so attractive they are going to enjoy it, they come for a job and nothing more. That is what needs to cha

Thing is mate, with the top quality professional people these clubs have in place there’s no reason to be fragile. These players have the best people in the business to help them get where they need to be. Somebody isn’t doing their job right somewhere........hope that makes sense. When Christiano Ronaldo went to Unt he went to the coaching, medical and catering staff and said “I want you to make me the best player in the world”......and they did ! Mindset & attention to details coupled with a bit of talent. Good coaches will make players achieve and believe things t

Sorry mate, didn’t see this earlier. Yes mate, that’s absolutely the sort of thing I’m talking about.
-
Mate, my point is, it’s all there already........we just need to know how to use it. We don’t need to lay out bundles of money to field a team the fans can get behind, we have it all already. Sheffield are proving my point rather nicely this season don’t you think ? Edited to add; The change in the rule about academy players and distance from clubs was a killer for a lot of clubs, it meant that the likes of Chelsea, Unt and City could just come in and cherry pick the best youth.
-
As you know, our youth system has been one of the most respected in the country for years and the U23 have some amazing talent. One thing I will never do as a hammers fan is talk shit above our station so to speak mate, we just don’t do that. My point is, I dont think this has anything to do with “investment” and I think it has everything to do with talented coaches who know how to get inside players heads, create the right mindset at a club and play football in the right way.........nobody here is talking about winning leagues, but it’s about really going and having a go and playing
-
You would have tripled the membership of the West Ham Suporters club in Ireland if you had bought that ! Lol
-
Don’t know if I said it on here or in a conversation with a pal mate but I was never impressed with the appointment of Pellergrini, early this season I thought I been proved wrong but it’s seems not. These old hat managers are exactly that, old hat.....football is moving on pal imho Now they are talking about Benitez and Chris Houghton and all that shit......and I have my head in my hands like “for f**k sake” So, our ambition moving from Upton Park was to be like Brighton or Newcastle was it? .......f***ing brilliant, you couldn’t make it up. That performance Saturday was

Hastings went the same mate, absolute piss hole. Im not sure, but I think there are a few more upmarket Independant business moving in now.

I was a bit worried about the bloke, it was very out of character ? Hope he is OK

I was in Canterbury last summer and I was shocked at the few empty shops, HOWEVER......as a whole the place was still rammed with people and the percentage of empty shops was small compared to those still thriving. Now, imho, a town as busy as that shouldn’t have any empty shops but the place was maintained, around the cathedral was still lovely. Sandwhich had every shop occupied and was booming. All making the most of what they have and looking after it. No derelict boarded up places there. Obviously here we have the border and the contrast is stark......as you leave

Yeah, they are hideous ain’t they mate! Maybe I should do away with them altogether, what do you reckon ?
-
A bit of basic thinking will soon get people to a point where they understand that decline in wildlife is more about urban sprawl, development, industry and agriculture than it is about hunting. I’m no fan of trophy hunting at all, I just don’t see the point but I do understand the benefits. Putting the blame for decline on hunting is more about raising revenue for wild life organisations than about saving anything. But, unfortunately, some folks intellect only stretches as far as the front page......actually thinking stuff through will never be their strong point. A fat Am

I wonder if that’s why you don’t have the managed estates in Ireland and consequent lack of game?
-
What I mean is mate England could do with your lack of spades and more respectful, old fashioned way of behaving towards each other. It could do with your willingness to stand up to government and officials and stand up for your communities. it could do with your love of your own culture and traditions and willingness to preserve them. Ireland could do with England’s industrious attitude and willingness to do things. You wouldnt see the derelict villages in England, especially ones that have the potential to be as beautiful as the ones in Ireland.....they would be bustling

There’s some nice boutique leather shops in Brussels as well isn’t there mate, bought my Mrs a rather nice handbag when I was there years ago on business.
