It was both imho mate, you are exactly right.....it’s too much for a young body. You would be more up on muscle groups and their workings than I ever would, but I’m guessing a sprinters muscles & tendons get put under massive explosive stress all the time.?

I think Liverpool made so many mistakes with players that could have made a big difference it’s just not true. Look at Owen, they played him to death......he was an injury prone player anyway, genetically pre disposed to the problems he had but they just kept playing him and playing him.

I agree mate, rule changes have enabled players to become superstars in today’s game that wouldn’t have got into yesterday’s teams because they just wouldn’t have been physically robust enough.

The only reason I could see a coach like Pottechino coming to us is if he took a notion to build something from f**k all and wanted a really, really good base to start from. I personally think we are a great club (I would say that wouldn’t I !) and if someone wanted to do something brilliant without the weight of expectation then there’s no finer place. Jmho

Nobes has been shot for a while imho mate, at least 2 seasons. But more than that, I think we have to ask why these other players are falling down on the job. Yeah, fair call mate. It probably tells it’s own story that he actually won stuff and the fans still hated him ! Lol..... I think Ollie will come good given the time and backing. Now, I dont know what the Pogba situation is and whether that injury story is true but if it isn’t then I hope that’s Ollies choice not to play him, because I think that would send a massive (and correct) message. I genuinely can’t stand to watch that Pogba he is so bad.
