I totally understand that way of thinking mate but think about this, the FA etc are absolutely exploiting these teams with various competitions. They are playing football at such an intensity that its only logical you will have to make choices about what games you play......if you take into account that Milner is averaging about 14km per game.....that’s a marathon a week, every week for 9 months !!! You have to be sensible too imho

Nothing so grotesque from me mate, I wound up on the Sunday finding myself a nice little elevated spot in the town centre and giving the acapella version of Madness greatest hits to a crowd of about 50 spectators then steaming into a bar full of plastic skinheads for shits and giggles ! Lol

Did you ever get to Torquay mate?.....had a great weekend down there back in the mists of time at a scooter rally, copped hold of the manager of Torquay Utd’s daughter on the Saturday......tidy little turn out !

Personally I have a thing for little old medieval villages with a river and the obligatory stone bridge......bit chocolate box but it’s my favourite. England is blessed in this regard in the British isles.

The guards were spot on with me when I bought my guns over. The only differences between Ireland and the UK for fire arms is that: You have to have a permit for each weapon instead of being able to hold multiple shotguns on one permit. Its a lot more of a palava to get an FAC because you need a lot more paperwork. But, attitudes are generally laid back and most things are an easy, if a bit long winded, process. I sold my rifle in the UK before I moved and I have not bothered to get another because I dont need it and can’t be arsed with the rigmarole of getting one.

I don’t know about them places mate and not trying to turn this into a religious thread but the lakes is one of the only places I have stood in my life and felt a genuine power and presence of something bigger than us........some spots are literally awesome.
