Here’s the thing brother, I know a few poofs.....older lads now in their 60s and they are sound, a pair of them are in a long term relationship with each other. Apart from one, you would genuinely never know.......and why should you ? Nice lads, no bother. Pies in Scotland......them ugly b*****ds will make a pie out of anything and I have to say, jolly good they are too. I also had a burger with a big slab of haggis on the top and peppercorn sauce when I was up there.....it’s was handsome.

Well said mate, I have pals from all over the British isles.....very, very close pals some of them are too. My pal from Burnley lives in London but takes his kids up North regular for what he calls “Northern lessons” ! Lol Same as me, I pull the kids up if they drop Irish phrases into a sentence ! I don’t know if the North has a dish that you’d associate with it really, Lancashire Hot Pot maybe?? But say Pie, Mash & Liquor and that is uniquely London. Arbroath Smokey’s and Haggis is obviously Scotland but what would be the North’s signature dish I wonder ?

Nobody has suggested the North wasn’t the industrial powerhouse of Britain, it’s a well known fact just like London has always been the financial and trade centre of Britain.......so what, the thread wasn’t about that.

Exactly mate, bizarrely enough I don’t want it to be like England.......it’s a lovely place to live and raise children precisely because its not that attractive to those that come to Europe to f**k the gaff up. Airport up the road, on the plane for a tenner, earn a few quid then back home away from the tribes and amongst people who look like me !

It’s mental isn’t it, don’t worry, English are liked less than wogs so go figure !! Lol ? In fairness as well, Ireland would struggle because it don’t have the infrastructure. The roads are total shite, forget broadband in lots of areas and the insurance and business taxes are insane. Its a complete rigmarole to do anything, it’s clunky and long winded.....as an example, take a waste carriers license. In the UK it’s 5 tick box pages on the net and £300.....you can get one in 5 minutes on your phone ! Same thing in Ireland?......it’s a paper form of about 30 pages that

There’s too many pro EU people in ireland from what I can see of it mate, nearly everyone I speak to fails to grasp how a country can just function alone.......most can’t imagine life without the EU and, not wishing to be insulting, the EU works very well for ireland because ireland don’t really have the same “up and at em” mentality as the UK when it comes to making things happen and being industrious. its probably why all the successful irish entrepreneurs mostly have their businesses in the UK or abroad.......lovely place to live, shit place to do business.

I tell you this much, there will be a few nations watching events for the next few years and if we make a go of it then we won’t be the last to leave. However, we must also remember that other countries are not like the UK where they have adopted and taken every rule and regulation to its most ludicrous degree.......other countries have not forced half the shit down it’s populations throat the the UK has and your common or garden Brit had simply had enough.......now it’s for you ordinary Brit to hold their government to account seeing as they can no longer blame it all on the EU

f***ing, someone tell these people it’s just a nation state leaving a political union.......it’s not Kramer v Kramer !
