Animals are always curious of what other animals are upto mate, especially this time of year when they are really trying to pack on the fat for the lean months ahead. Its nice to see, rare to see even but I don’t think it’s anything particularly strange or unusual ?

Anyway, to get in the spirit of Air gun hunting: .22 is good out to 9000m but for range work you want the flatter trajectory of .177 which is lethal at upto 18000m ! (Allowing for the wind of course !)

Haha, I used to deal with a load of Brethren, they were top people. As you say, always paid bang on the nail, no messing. When I dealt with them they didn’t use computers and avoided modern technology as much as possible. Absolutely no weekend working, Saturdays for the family and Sundays for the Lord is what they used to say. Dealt with a few down your way mate.

I think it might be based on the tithe system mate as set out in the Bible, so 10% of what you earn go’s to the church. As in every 10th animal under the rod etc etc Pal of mine got caught balls deep in a JW bird, her parents were elders and they excommunicated her !

I think it’s just a case of the sheer numbers of those things that are about mate, cover is dropping, things are venturing further afield as the year draws down. Round you way is alive with deer, and foxes and badger are at epedemic proportions in and around London. I don’t think it’s anything in particular myself

I think the key is in the word “guests”......when you go to a place you are not from you are a guest, you should be aware you are, the locals know you are and you behave as such. I am, I know I am even though I’m just in another part of the British isles and I never forget it and behave accordingly. First of all, as I pointed out to someone else, the nation state and the concept of a nation state is young being only about 1000 years old. You are a white Europeans living in the historically white continent of Europe. I am a Britain living in the British isles. You and I are not aliens to the places we inhabit. As to your other points, you can see that as hypocritical if you want to, that is entirely an opinion that you are free to hold.

I think that’s a fair enough point. So, for a start I don’t socialise with ethnics, they were just never in my social circle and I had no desire to be in places they frequent. I dealt with loads of Africans because I used to sell them stuff to load in their containers that they were shipping back to Africa, same with Indians and Pakistanis. Fair enough It’s a completely unrealistic scenario mate but I’d like to think I’d help anyone if I was on the spot at the time and it was in my power to help them.......thinking that blacks don’t belong in Europe and holding a belief that having them here is to everyone’s detriment is no barrier to acting like a proper human being and generally behaving like a proper chap. I don’t “care” about anybody that’s not mine, I don’t have any affinity to them. I don’t know them and I don’t care to know them, there nothing in it for any of us. All I do know is that when they force us together it lowers the bar for us.

I can’t answer for Gnasher but for the sake of a chat I can answer for me. When talking about “Black History Month” or Blacks in Europe what we are mostly talking about are Africans. You never see an image of an Asian or an Indian or a Sikh, it’s always an African or some close derivative. First off, I don’t think there is a single person on this forum who would accuse me of hiding my racism !!
