I don’t think they do either but other lads may have had a different experience. One or two runs and it’s hanging round the dogs feet in rags. That EMT gel is the stuff, it’s unbeatable.

Forget all that wrapping mate, imho it always ends up a liability after a couple of runs, anything else restricts proper movement. Its asking for a worse injury and the dog never runs quiet right…..it knows it has something on its leg it don’t like, just my humble opinion of my experience of course ?

See if you can get hold of EMT gel mate, it’s not widely available in the uk but some greyhound and gundog lads can get it and it’s literally a miracle ! I’ll nip out to the shed and see if I still have a tube and take a picture. Its the best stuff you will ever find for cuts to anywhere including pads and stopper It sort of gos hard and forms almost a new hard skin over the wound and it heals it in double quick time, it’s fantastic stuff. Put it on, let it go hard for the day and you can run them on it. May have to put more on the next day but you get the drift.

I think it’s one of them that dog lads can creep round worrying about “the antis” or they can just say f**k it mate, I want to go out and see my dog leather gear. Antis are always going to be antis, “ethical” dog work won’t convince them otherwise…..f**k em, I love seeing some great big savage of a dog break stuff into tatters and long may there be lads willing to go out and just get stuff killed ?

Well I was at one of the days in a chapter of “Dogs & Deer” and I can tell you it’s word for word. Likewise quiet a few pals, very good lads, did guest chapters in various books and they 100% wasn’t bullshit. The bloke puts in a lot of miles and is a very single minded type of bloke about whatever he is focusing on. He definitely isn’t some kind of super hunter and he wouldn’t pretend he is. I always found him a very decent bloke and he used to send me a free book every time one came out, I always insisted on paying but he wouldn’t hear of it. Haven’t spoken to him

Farming isn’t the problem, it’s subsidising food in order to nick more household income in direct and stealth tax thats the problem. Its importing tens of millions more mouths to feed into areas that were never ever meant to sustain that amount of people that’s a problem. Without that, farmers could farm in a more traditional and planet friendly way and get paid the right money for great produce. We would also have the land and soil left to do it and to deal with carbon like it’s done for millions of years. Concreting over land and keeping what soil is left alive artificial

Don’t know mate, I don’t really follow American politics as such. But when it comes to elections anywhere I just always expect to be disappointed by the electorate. Brexit was the only exception I can think of.

When it comes to farming I really can’t see how livestock is worse than arable ?…….modern industrial arable farming is absolutely terrible for the environment.

While I don’t think farming is anywhere close to being the bad guy in all this, a move away from big industrial farming to an older and more natural method would be great for the eco system. However, this would involve having to charge the proper price for food which rather puts a spanner in the works of the government tax as much as possible way of doing things. Bottom line is, we are f***ing the job up no doubt about it but only because that’s the model forced on us. We don’t need 5 million more houses and everything that gos with it, we need 15 million less people ! f**k e

I’m surrounded by forestry, the difference between forestry and natural woodland is obvious and shocking. I own a 3-4 acre natural wood, there is a diverse range of plants on the woodland floor, light can penetrate and generally everything does what it should. In amongst the forestry, nothing lives !…….it’s a lifeless desert on the ground. It wrecks the land.
