First read the book when I was about 10, I have read it and later listened to it on audio book countless times since over the years…..seen this advertised and I am really looking forward to it, I hope they do it justice.

Don’t take this the wrong way mate, but what sport ?……hunting with dogs will be over in the next 3 years maximum ! In Scotland it will be the next 3 months ! There’s only so much you can say about this stuff if it don’t involve anything a bit “gritty”…….I personally think hunting with dogs is the most exciting thing to read, everything else like fishing and shooting you just have to be there really or it’s too immersive to really do it justice in a post if you don’t want to write a thousand words. Great looking dogs leathering the f**k out of all sorts of tackle was a nice easy thin

He was born in Southampton as you well know, I won’t get into this boring argument because it’s been done to death. I reared 2 lambs in a chicken pen last year but funny enough they never laid any eggs. Frankly, I’m a bit disappointed I let myself start commenting on this thread more than my original post…..I’m devastated and ashamed as an Englishman that’s it’s come to this. But that’s just me, I’m sure nobody else will give a shit as long as the Indian throws them a bone.
